That marks the end of our coverage of the one-sided BPL game between Comilla Victorians and Chattogram Challengers where the Victorians threw tough challenges to the challengers and came out victorious. We know we have quality players and we can come back anytime from any stage. I was little bit shocked when I saw Tanvir was finding large turns but he did his job."
Tanvir Islam (Player of the Match)- "I am happy to contribute to my team's victory. Aliss was bowling from my opposite end and that partnership was crucial for us and I got the wickets. Salauddin sir saw the pitch and told us to bowl in the right areas and I just followed the advice. I am thankful to the almighty."

Shuvagata Hom (Chattogram Challengers Captain)- "Batting first, if you score 72, you will always get lagging. We expected the wicket to behave better but it was tough. Tom actually batted well and we lost many wickets in the middle overs. If we could post 120-130, we would have been in a better position. We bowled a few extra balls and leaked extra runs, otherwise we would have put up a better fightback."

Coming to bat first after losing the toss, the Challengers lost Tanzid Hasan for a duck. After that, Tanvir Islam demolished the top order. He removed Avishka Fernando(7), Shahadat Hossain(9) and Shykat Ali(0). Tom Bruce gave a fight back and he was the top scorer for the Challengers scoring 27 runs. The main villain of this debacle for Chattogram Challengers was their shot selection. Najibullah Zadran(11), Shuvagata Hom(7) lost their wicket by playing wrong shots at the wrong times. After that, the tail-enders didn't contribute much. Nihaduzzaman stayed at the crease for 22 balls and remained unbeaten on 7 runs.
Tanvir Islam was the stand out bowler for the Comilla Victorians picking up 4 wickets for 13 runs. Aliss Islam took a couple of wickets for 14 runs. The rest of the three wickets were shared by the pacers, namely Raymon Reifer, Mustafizur Rahman and Aamer Jamal.
Coming to chase the run, the Comilla side lost Litton Das and Mahidul Islam Ankon cheaply. But just after that, Towhid Hridoy came in and went all guns blazing. He smashed the bowlers here and there to contribute 31 runs quickly by just facing 13 balls. Mohammad Rizwan stayed unbeaten throughout the chase and scored 16 runs off 24 balls. The Chattogram bowlers erred in lines consistently and bowled 14 wides and that made the chase more easy for the Victorians.
For the Chattogram Challengers, Bilal Khan, Al-Amin Hossain and Ziaur Rahman took one wicket each.
