So, that marks the end of our coverage from the game between Comilla Victorians and Sylhet Strikers. Hope you have enjoyed our coverage and for now, this is Saptak Sanyal, taking the leave from you on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Good night.
Litton Das (Comilla Victorians Captain): "Yes, definitely. It was the best game of life. Aliss bowled so well. All bowlers bowled amazingly well. Yes, definitely. We have to score in top order. We batted well today but we lost our way in middle overs and have to rectify that. I have no words to say. The bowlers and fielders bowled really well. Ryan Burl can damage our bowling easily. So, I was worried a bit. But we managed to get him thanks to Chase out there. Happy with the win, but we will need to work on few areas and get better in the coming games. Happy with the performance of the team today especially bowlers and fielders."
Aliss Islam (Player of the Match)- "First of all I want to thank Allah and then I want to thank Salauddin sir for keeping faith on me. It was a low scoring game and our teammates backed me saying that if anyone can turn the game, it is me.

Back in 2019, I registered a hat-trick but then I had an ACL injury and lost my fovus but then I came back, thanks to the almighty. I think our bowling has the strength to defend any total."
Mashrafe Mortaza (Sylhet Strikers Captain): "Yes, obviously. Bowling and fielding was really good. You can't ask better than chasing 130 runs here. But batting let us down in the end. Yes, disappointing. Chasing in a dew ground and performing like this is not on. I think we have to analyse where we went wrong and come back stronger. The whole team has to believe in themselves and come back stronger in the next games. Not one or two individuals. Everyone has to stand up. Hope to come back stronger and we have 4 games to play here still. Let's see how we go about our business."
22:05 IST and 22:35 Local Time | The Comilla Victorians registered a noteworthy victory by 52 runs and they have defended the low total of 130 and they are celebrating between themselves in the ground.

Coming to bat first in the match, Litton Das hit a couple of boundaries early in the first over but got out in the fourth ball. Mohammad Rizwan and Imrul Kayes batted well in their partnership but Rizwan got out for 14 off 16 balls. Shortly after that, Imrul Kayes got out for 30 off 28 balls. Towhid Hridoy (9) and Roston Chase fell in a very quick succession. But just after that, Jaker Ali and Khushdil Shah gave a fight back. Shah scored 21 runs off 22 balls with a boundary before getting out to Richard Ngarava. Jaker Ali got out in the very final over scoring 29 runs off 27 balls hitting a boundary and a maximum. The lower order didn't contribute much and the Comilla side finished on 130 runs.

Samit Patel was the star of the bowlers picking up 3 wickets for 16 runs. Richard Ngarava took a couple of wickets. Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Ben Cutting took a wicket each.

Coming out to chase the run, the Sylhet Strikers fell in deep trouble losing Mohammad Mithun(0), Najmul Hossain Shanto(5) and Samit Patel(4). They lost Yasir Ali(1), Ben Cutting(1) and Mashrafe Mortaza(0) for cheap scores and got down to 28 for 6. After that, Ryan Burl and Zakir Hasan showed some resistance. They registered a partnership of 40 runs between them . Burl got out for 14 runs off 18 balls. In the same over, the well set Zakir Hasan also got out. He scored 41 runs off 34 balls with 6 boundaries. After his innings, the victory was just a matter of time for the Comilla side and they wrapped the Sylhet for a paltry 78 to register a mammoth victory of 52 runs.

For the Comilla Victorians, Aliss Islam was the star of the show. He picked up 4 wickets giving just 17 runs. It was his opening spell, that sent the Strikers on backfoot. Roston Chase picked up two crucial wickets of Ryan Burl and Zakir Hasan to turn the game. Matthew Forde, Tanvir Islam and Khushdil Shah took a wicket each.
16.2 T Islam to R Ngarava
W WICKET! Fuller length around off, Ngarava chips it back to the bowler. Islam takes the catch of his own bowling and that's the end of the match. Ngarava is the last man out as the Strikers have been bowled out for 78 in 16.2 overs. Comilla Victorians win this game by 52 runs and climb upwards in the points table.
