Najibullah Zadran (Player of the Match): "Yes, I didn't sleep well for the last two days. I came from India. I got in and played normal cricket and in the end, got the win for our side. I played normal cricket. Yes, we got in the partnership and we played positive cricket and happy to get the job done. We had to use our heads properly. Glad we could win and get the points for the side."

Mashrafe Mortaza (Sylhet Strikers captain)- "I think the fielding has let us down. uOur bowling was also below par but the catch drops have affected us a lot. After the 15 overs, we did use the slog overs well. 177 is a good score in this wicket but I think the catch drop was the issue. Spinners were struggling to bowl in lines but our seamers also struggled well. I am playing after quite a long time and hopefully will do better in the next games."

The Strikers were good with the bat but were sloppy with the ball with numerous dropped catches and that has come back to haunt them as they go down in this game.
Chasing 178 for the win, Chattogram lost Tanzid Hasan early. Avishka Fernando looked good for his 39 off 23 balls as he gave them the quick start. Uzzaman went to double figures as the Challengers were 59/3 at one stage. But from there on, it was the Shahadat Hossain-Najibullah Zadran show. The duo put on 121 unbeaten runs for the fourth wicket to get them over the line. Hossain was unbeaten on 57* off 39 balls while Najibullah finished things off in style remaining unbeaten on 61* off 30 balls. 10 extras given by the fielding side as they got to the target in 18.3 overs.
The Strikers' bowlers went for runs today and were sloppy in the field dropping catches here and there. A wicket apiece for Richard Ngarava, Nazmul Islam, and skipper Mashrafe Mortaza. The rest remained wicketless and expensive for that matter.

4 VICTORY!!!!!!!! Mortaza from over the wicket, serves a good length delivery outside off. Zadran waits for the slower delivery to come close to his body and he slaps it over the cover fielder inside the circle and the ball races away to the fence. Excelllent come back from the Chattogram Challengers riding on the brilliance of Shahadat Hossain-Najibullah Zadran duo and they gets the victory by 7 wickets.
