In the middle part, the spinners did well to stop the run flow. Special mention to Mohammad Naim as his innings was instrumental for our win.

Shoriful Islam (Player of the Match): "First of all, thanks to Allah for giving me the hat-trick. Even when I was hit for sixes, I knew I could come back and take the wickets. Captain told me to bowl slower balls and keep it simple and Allah helped me as well. Taskin bhai has a good bonding with me. Happy that he got a couple of wickets. I have great bonding with him. Happy for him and the team. Hope to keep on winning in the coming games."

Chaturanga de Silva came out and hit a six to win the game for his side. The Dhaka team played better and held off a spirited challenge from the defending champions Comilla Victorians. The Victorians were not at their best and still tried to win in the end.
Chasing 144 for the win, the openers Mohammad Naim and Danushka Gunathilaka gave the side a great start. They put on 101 for the first wicket. Naim was the star with his 52 off 40 balls while Gunathilaka scored 41 off 42 balls. The Dhaka team lost their way in the middle. Irfan Sukkur played a vital hand of 24 off 16 balls to take them closer to the target. But it was Chaturanga who took them over the line with the six as the victory was achieved in 19.3 overs. 11 extras given by the fielding side.
Tanvir Islam was the pick of the bowlers for Comilla Victorians with figures of 2/27 in 4 overs. Mustafizur Rahman got a couple of wickets for 31 runs in 3.3 overs. The other wicket fell to Khushdil Shah as he finished with 1/12 in 2 overs.
