Karachi Whites cricketers are celebrating after the trophy is handed over to them. This has been a fairy tale ending for the experienced Asad Shafiq.
Asad Shafiq (Karachi Whites Captain): "Yes, when match started, we wanted to get to 170. We lost wickets in the middle overs. If we bowl to our potential, we could win this game and that was the talk.
The way we bowled with the new ball. We need to get early wickets. Dahani and Khan started well and that set the tone for us.

We played excellent cricket throughout the tournament. Our debutants were good and they performed well under pressure.There was very little dew here and we should have chased the run today but we can't.

Shahnawaz Dahani(Karachi Whites)- "It is a very proud moment that Karachi won the Quaid-E-Azam trophy and now the National T20. We had not much runs on board and tried to take quick wickets and we did that.
It was hard for batters to bat against hard length deliveries. After the 10th over, the ball was reversing well. We enjoyed playing under the captaincy of Asad Shafiq and the way he managed the team is something incredible."
