That's it from this quarter final game where Haryana prevails over Bengal and advances to the semi-finals. The semi-finals kick off day after tomorrow in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and it will be day night games to finish this off. Do join us then and for all other fixtures around the globe stay tuned to our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Ashok Menaria (Rajasthan Captain): "Yes, we wanted to win the toss and chase and glad we did that. Bowling was great from us. Fielding energy was great and it supported us a lot to the bowlers. That partnership was key. We built a good partnership and then Ankit was great. Yes, we lost our way and happy to win in the end. Happy to qualify for the semi-finals. Big game coming our way and hope to do well there. Have areas to work on."
Yuzvendra Chahal (Player of the match): "Nothing sir. The wicket looked like a 350+ wicket. The fast bowlers bowled and it looked it was stopping. So, bowled straight lines and got rewards. No plan as such just kept things simple and varied my pace a bit. I think I back my strengths and deliver the balls accordingly. Yes, definitely. The team, is playing well as well. We have a batting depth. I think we have good chances of winning the trophy. Ankit's innings was great. We have batting depth and batting at Number 10. So, that was good to see. Thank You."
Player of the match- Yuzvendra Chahal
Sudip Gharami (Bengal Captain): "We lost wickets at regular intervals and lacked partnerships and that's why we lost the game. The ball was moving. The new ball moved but the bowlers bowled well. The batters let us down a bit. The batters were getting set and then getting out. That was the issue. We were under par in the end. Shahbaz scored well and he kept us in the game. We tried to take wickets and I am proud that we tried our best to win this game."
4:39 PM IST and Local Time: Haryana are through to the semi-finals for the first time after `13 years in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as they beat Bengal by 4 wickets with 29 balls to spare here in Rajkot. They have played better than Bengal in all facets of the game today and despite Bengal's best efforts with the ball, it is Haryana who walk away with the honours.

Chasing 226 for the win, Haryana rode on a magnificent knock from Ankit Kumar as he scored a magnificent hundred. He scored 102 off 102 balls and held the innings together. Himanshu Rana scored 10 and then Ashok Menaria chipped in with 39 as he gave good support to Ankit Kumar. Nishant Sindhu scored 27 off 29 balls while Rahul Tewatia remained unbeaten on 21* off 28 balls while Sumit Kumar hit the winning runs and scored 10* off 9 balls,. 12 extras given by the fielding side as the victory target was achieved in 45.1 overs.

The Bengal bowlers bowled their hearts out despite going down today. A couple of wickets apiece for Mohammed Kaif and Pradipta Pramanik.  A wicket also for Ishan Porel and Shahbaz Ahmed. They tried their best, but it was not to be for Bengal as Haryana ran out winners.

Earlier in the game, Bengal were put into bat first by Haryana. They also lost an early wicket and continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. Abhishek Porel scored 24 and skipper Sudip Gharami scored 21. Anustup Majumdar got to 14. But amidst the ruins, one man stood out. That was Shahbaz Ahmed as his 100 off 118 balls resurrected Bengal from a precarious position. Karan Lal scored 13 while Pradipta Pramanik chipped in with 21 off 19 balls a useful knock. 12 extras given by the fielding side as Bengal were bowled out for 225 in 50 overs.

For Haryana, the pick of the bowlers was Yuzvendra Chahal who finished with excellent match figures of 4/37 in 10 overs. A couple of wickets apiece for Sumit Kumar and Rahul Tewatia. A wicket to Nishant Sindhu as well as Haryana did the job with the ball and their batters finished the job in the end.

So, a win for Haryana over Bengal by 4 wickets as they advance to the semi-finals for the first time in 13 years of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Stay tuned for the presentations.
