Delhi Bulls won the toss and elected to bowl first, and the decision paid off massively. Fazalhaq Farooqi opened the flood-gates in the first over by dismissing Chris Lynn for a third duck in the row and Delhi Bulls never looked back after that.
Naveen ul Haq followed it up with a wicket of his own in the second over as Bangla Tigers ended the powerplay on 10/2. Jordan Cox's 3rd over explosives gave the Tigers a boost but he was quickly dismissed by Gleeson at the beginning of a triple-wicket over that saw him also pick up Miller and Shanaka for a total of 2 runs!
Sams and Carlos played their best cameos to power their team to 81/7 at the end of 10 overs. Richard Gleeson was the pick of the bowlers for his figures of 3/4 from 2 overs.
Come the chase, Bangla Tigers had early hope after picking up 3 early wickets of Quinton, Charles and Vince. However, once Rovman Powell entered the scene it was over for the Tigers.
