So, that's a wrap from this encounter in LLC season two. The Manipal Tigers reign supreme in the hills of Dehradun. Some task to be done for the Kings after they go back and prepare for their next encounter.

This is Arijit Kundu signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Ninaad Dixit and scorer/analyst, Paras Yadav. Stay tuned to the network for many more cricketing extravaganza. See you! Adios!
Harbhajan Singh (Manipal Tigers): "We were pretty happy with what we got on the board. We were 30 extra. 175 would also be a nice total on this crease. The ball was holding a bit. Everyone bowled and batted really well and executed our plan.

Irfan looks one of those batter who took the game away in the previous game. I wanted to bowl at him as he is a left hander. I can take the ball away from him. He is probably the best batter in this lineup presently so I wanted to bowl at him.

This ground doesn't get too wet which is a good thing. I lost the toss and thought its the best thing to happen. We wanted to bowl first and restrict as our bowling is good. Ranchi was very wet and we are glad to get a win there."
Irfan Pathan (Bhilwara Kings Captain): "When you look back and the ball was keeping even low, I think it wasn't too bad an idea to bowl first. I think they started off well inside the powerplay. We did not bowl well. Robin and Chadwick, they took the game away inside the powerplay. We had to bowl slower ones, but we were bowling pace. We had to bowl a bit shorter ones but we were going full.

Yeah, he's an off-spinner and I wanted either of the right-handed batters to get out. I kept him there. But when I look back  I should have given Karia a bowl. Our strength is batting and not bowling. So, I wanted to chase. I think chasing is the best option for our team unless it's a rank-turner."
Chadwick Walton (Legend of the Match): "It was good to see Robin set the platform, things got easier for me. The coach emphasized that we keep things simple. I will take the 100. The catches were cool. The most thing special was to play second fiddle to Robin in the beginning. To see how he constructed the innings and then dig in."

10:08 PM IST and Local Time: It's good to lose the toss at times and here is yet another example of it. The Manipal Tigers completely outsmarted the Bhilwara Tigers in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Dehradun. They win by a gargantuan 89-run margin in this affair and earn two crucial points to find themselves at the top half of the table.

In pursuit of a 200-plus chase, the Kings were pushed against the wall right inside the powerplay. They lost three wickets as Mitchell McClenaghan, Praveen Gupta and Parvinder Awana struck early with the ball. By the halfway mark of the innings, Robin Bist followed the top order and the scoreboard read 56-4. Only three bowlers were used for the first nine overs and they were enough to break the spine.

The spinners of the Tigers came into the fray post drinks and toppled the lower middle order. Imran Khan was splendid to watch with the ball barring his flurry of wide deliveries. The wrist-spinner outwitted the Pathan brothers and Chris Barnwell. Harbhajan Singh was brilliant with his off-spin and got his share in the wickets column too. The chasing unit never seemed at par with respect to the required run rate and therefore had to surrender in the end.

Earlier, dominant top-order batting boosted the Manipal Tigers' total to 212 runs. Robin Uthappa and Chadwick Walton combined 87 for the first wicket with the Indian batter racing to 51 from 30 balls. Walton played second fiddle in the opening stand and then took off after Robbie left off, scoring 104 (55). He was well-succored by Hamilton Masakadza (37 off 30) halfway through the innings.

Walton achieved the tournament's maiden century courtesy of a couple of dropped catches and was the last man out in the final over. Masakadza stepped off the park in the same over as retired out making way for Thisara Perera, who struck a six off the first ball but was caught on the second. Chris Barnwell took two wickets but was costly, allowing 45 runs in four overs.

Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony.
