Suresh Raina(Urbanrisers HyderabadCaptain):"You come to MS Dhoni place and everyone wants to bowl from MS Dhoni end. I was saying bowl from the other end.
It was a good game and happy with the win. Dew would have been a factor but we did well. I love playing in Yellow and that has become my life.
I rotated the bowlers very well. Didn't want their batters get settled to our bowlers.
That was the main plan and so I rotated the bowlers from MS Dhoni stand and Amitabh Chowdhury stand as well. We were not quite there with the bat but were fine with the ball. Hope to get better in the coming matches."
Ross Taylor (Southern Super Stars Captain): "The dew wasn't much a factor as other games. The way Hyderabad came out, they only bowled one over of spin where we used 2 fast bowlers. Few mistakes from our side.
When we were getting partnerships we just couldn't hold on for another couple of overs. The way their bowlers came out there, I think we could have restrict them. Guptill batted well for them at the top. I think we could have fielded better as well.
This morning Aaron Finch was the captain and now he is on the plane so things are happening quite quickly. Its been a great setup. Michael Bevan is been fantastic for the group. First time in this competition, we lost the first game but still a long way to go."
Pawan Suyal:"Yes, very happy with the performance. Didn't do anything special. Just kept it simple and kept at one place. The pitch was up and down. The challenges are there. All are legends and have to play at them. We tried to keep it wicket to wicket and that was the plan. I think the main plan was keep it straight and simple and that will get the job done."
Legend of the Match: Pawan Suyal.

10:08 IST and Local Time: The Urbanrisers Hyderabad win their first ever encounter in the Legends League Cricket. The Southern Super Stars won the toss and elected to field first before bundling out for 156 in the first innings.
There were early obstacles in the chase as Peter Trego got rid of Upul Tharanga in the second over of the chase. Chris Mpofu cleaned up impact player Jesse Ryder in the next over. Dilshan Munaweera (34 off 27) and Shreevats Goswami (18 off 13) added 40 for the third wicket in quick time but Pawan Suyal entered the fray with a wicket in his first over.
Skipper Ross Taylor (12 off 11) was unlucky to throw his wicket away off a poor delivery from impact player Pragyan Ojha. Manvinder Bisla tried to keep the required rate in check with 18 off 16 deliveries and after his departure allrounder Pawan Negi tried to keep the flow of runs intact.
Pawan Suyal (3/23) chipped in with a couple of wickets in his last spell removing Rajesh Bishnoi and Negi at important junctures. Suranga Lakmal tried to take the game ahead with 11 in 14 deliveries and remained not out.
Besides Suyal, Mpofu (2/23), Peter Trego (2/31), Ojha (1/8) and Stuart Binny (1/29) chipped in with wickets as the Urbanrisers Hyderabad took their first ever LLC fixture home by 13 runs. Stay tuned for the post match presentation.
W GONE! The catch has been taken! It's all over for the Super Stars in their tournament openet! Full length slow ball pitched just outside the off stump. Hamid gets underneath and swings hard. Doesn't time the stroke at all hitting it off the bottom of the bat. The ball is high in the air. Dwayne Smith at long off calls for it, settles underneath and takes the catch!
19.1 S Binny to S Lakmal
1 Over the wicket. Yorker on the middle stump, big shout for LBW from the bowler and keeper but nothing from the umpire. Lakmal clears the front leg and gets an inside edge on the pad. Ball rolls in the third man region, single taken. No signal from the umpire.
Suyal cleans him up and Negi departs. Just 3 off the over and a wicket as well.
18.6 P Suyal to P Negi
W BOWLED HIM!! Pawan Suyal finishes his spell in style! A low full toss aimed at the stumps, Suyal rolls his fingers over it and takes the pace off. Suyal is beaten in the air as he swings across and makes no contact, loses his shape and the grip of the bottom hand from the bat as well. The ball hits the off stump, that should be the game here.
18.5 P Suyal to S Lakmal
1 Full and following Lakmal down leg, hit down the ground towards Tino Best at long on. Little fumble but just a run for the taking.
