That marks the end of our coverage from the Super Smash game between Auckland Aces and Northern Brave. Auckland Aces got the victory by outplaying the Brave and they are the deserving winners.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Don't go anywhere. Follow our live coverage if the T20 match between New Zealand and Pakistan by switching the tabs.
Jeet Raval(Northern Brave Captain)- "It wasn't our day. 120 was not enough to defend on the good surface and as a consequence, we are on the losing side.

I think, we had a chance today to score 150 or more. After the performance of Carter and Hampton with the bat, we could have done better with the bat but our lower order got a failure too. In the end, we failed to do a complete performance."
Robert O'Donnell (Auckland Aces Captain): "Great performance by the bowlers. Ferns, Ferguson and Solia all did well today. It was hot out there but the wind gave us good relief and came well in the end. We wanted to bat first today. But the boys were up for it. I think, the guys coming in or going out know their roles very well and they are doing the job. I think we have to keep doing these things well and see how we carry on. If we play well, then we can play the finals if we play our cards well."
Lockie Ferguson (Game Changer of the Match): "Yes, nice to get a game out there. Lovely evening here and glad to get the win. I think the others made the job easier for me and the bowlers have been great for us. They helped me a lot. I bowled from the right end. Nice to get the treat and happy to do well for my side. Next day someone could be the game changer. Nice to get the win."
Gamechanger of the Match: Lockie Ferguson.
11:29 IST and 18:59 Local Time | The Auckland Aces got a comprehensive victory over the Northern Brave by 8 wickets and 21 balls remaining. Thanks to a brilliant batting performance by Sean Solia and an incredible bowling by Lockie Ferguson.

Coming to bat first, the Northern Braves started to lose wickets and got reduced to 29 for 4 at one stage, losing Henry Cooper(2), Scott Kuggeleijn(0) and the skipper Jeet Raval(6). Brett Hampton and Joe Carter steadied the ship after opener Katene Clarke got out for 12. It was Joe Carter who was the top scorer of the first innings scoring 48 off 39 balls. Hampton partnered him well for his 25 run knock. The entire lower middle order failed miserably and the Brave side got wrapped up for 121.

For the Auckland Aces, Lockie Ferguson was the star of the bowlers picking up 4 wickets giving just 14 runs away. Louis Delport picked up two wickets in his final over to finish with 2 for 30 after his four overs. Remaining wickets were shared by Sean Solia, Ben Lister and Danru Ferns.

Coming to chase the run, George Worker started the innings well with a couple of boundaries at the start. Later he added another boundary and got out for 14. Cole Briggs got out for just 7. After that, skipper Robert O'Donnell joined Sean Solia in the crease. Solia was struggling with timing for the initial 20 balls and then Robert kept the scoreboard going. Once, Solia got going, there was no looking back for him and the Aces. He went on to score an unbeaten 67 off 42 balls hitting 3 boundaries and 5 maximums. Robert remained unbeaten on 35 off 36 balls hitting 4 boundaries.

Kristian Clarke and Scott Kuggeleijn took one wicket each for the Brave side.
