That's it from the coverage of this game. More action coming your way in the coming days over the weekend. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Den Foxcroft(Otago Volts Captain)- "Yes this is a good win and when you win against a lot of capped players, it gives immense players. Our players showed really great attitude and the bowlers bowled tight. Hopefully, we will carry this momentum forward for the rest of the season."
Jeet Raval (Northern Brave Captain): "We got outplayed in all facets of the game. The way they bowled was amazing to see. We had a chance with the ball, but Glenn and Dean batted well for us and won the game for them. We have areas to work on but they outplayed us. Don't regret batting first, but I feel we were totally outplayed by the Otago team today. They beat us in all facets of the game."
Glenn Phillips(Game Changer of the Match)- "It was really pleasing to contribute in my first white ball game this season with Volts. The way our spinners bowled and I and Foxcroft, were finding the singles well throughout our stay and we waited for the loose balls. We got the opportunities and cashed in. That helped us."
12:56 PM IST, 8:26 PM Local Time: A comprehensive win for Otago Volts as they have thrashed the home team Northern Brave here by 8 wickets with 3 overs to spare at Seddon Park in Hamilton. They have outplayed the Brave in all facets of the game and deserve the points from this game.

Chasing 129 for the win, Otago Volts lost Hamish Rutherford early. Jake Gibson looked good for his 21 off 16 balls before he was dismissed. The skipper Dean Foxcroft held the innings together with his 55* off 48 balls and was ably supported by Glenn Phillips who scored 53* off 30 balls and switched gears towards the end. The duo made sure there were no further hiccups as the target was achieved in 17 overs.

A wicket apiece to Neil Wagner and Tim Pringle. Mitchell Santner bowled economically but went wicketless like the rest of the bowlers as they were totally outplayed today.

Earlier in the game. Northern Brave won the toss and decided to bat first. They lost Katene Clarke early for 10 runs. Tim Seifert looked good for his 37 off 24 balls. Mitchell Santner looked the best batter out there as he scored 49 off 34 balls. But the innings fell away towards the end as they lost their last 5 wickets for 10 runs. The innings frittered away towards the end. 3 extras given by the fielding side as they finished with 128 in 18.3 overs.

From the bowling point of view, Jacob Duffy picked up 4 wickets for 19 runs in 3.3 overs. He was ably supported by Jake Gibson who finished with 3/19 in 3 overs. A wicket apiece to Travis Muller, Ben Lockrose, and Glenn Phillips who bowled well for his 1/23 in 4 overs. All in all, a great bowling display by the Volts backed up by an impressive batting display as well.

So, Otago Volts win by 8 wickets with 3 overs to spare to climb upwards in the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.

16.6 N Wagner to D Foxcroft
4 Glorious straight drive to bring the victory up!!! Wagner bowls a full length delivery at the off stump. Foxcroft off his front foot, drives the ball straight as an arrow through the right of the mid-off fielder and the ball goes to the fence like a bullet for a boundary. Otago Volts wins the game by 8 wickets and 3 overs to spare.
Dean Foxcroft gets to his fifty off 47 balls and scores are level at Seddon Park.
16.5 N Wagner to D Foxcroft
4 50 for Foxcroft!!! Wagner serves a low full toss at the leg stump. Foxcroft off his front foot, just lofts it over mid-on for a welcome boundary. The scores are level!
