Henry Nicholls (Game Changer of the Match): "Yes, nice to take that catch. Charged in forward and then went back and took the catch. Nice to break the partnership. Yes, nice to play T20S and playing with these boys is great for me. I enjoy playing the Super Smash and hope to do well in the coming games as well. Thanks. Sure I will enjoy myself."

11:56 AM IST, 7:26 PM Local Time: Zakary Foulkes finishes things off in style and Canterbury win by 4 wickets with 7 balls to spare.

Earlier, after deciding to bat first, Otago Volts lost Jake Gibson and Dean Foxcroft cheaply inside the powerplay. Hamish Rutherford and Glenn Phillips started building the partnership in the middle, and the duo played watchfully to keep the scoreboard ticking at a decent pace. The pair added 60+ runs for the third wicket, with Phillips departing for 38 runs, while Rutherford notched up his half-century and departed for 53 runs.

Max Chu and Dale Phillips wreaked havoc with the bat at the cue end of the innings and added 60+ runs in the last five overs. Max remained unbeaten on 34 runs off 18 balls, while Dale Phillips played an unbeaten cameo of 16-ball 32 runs, helping their side post a formidable 171/5 in 20 overs.

Zakary Foulkes shone with the ball for the Kings, taking three wickets. Michael Rae and Cole McConchie celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of 171 runs, Canterbury lost Chad Bowes and Leo Carter cheaply inside the powerplay, but Henry Nicholls scored at a rapid pace from the word go and helped the Kings post 70/2 in the powerplay.

Nicholls continued his carnage and notched up his half-century but failed to bat till the end, departing for 33-ball 59 runs. Mitchell Hay followed Nicholls straightaway on the next ball as he was clean-bowled for a golden duck by Muller. McConchie, who took his time to settle on the crease, stepped on the accelerator and kept the scoreboard ticking at a brisk pace following the departure of Nicholls, but unfortunately, he got run out for 39 runs off 31 balls. Bevon Jacobs played a cameo of 12-ball 19 runs, while Zakary Foulkes sealed the game with a biggie, helping the Kings win by 4 wickets with 7 balls to spare.

Andrew Hazeldine and Travis Muller shared a couple of wickets for the Volts, while Jake Gibson celebrated a solitary wicket.
