Be sure to join us for the upcoming games from around the globe. For now, it's me, Hitesh Peddurwar, bidding farewell alongside my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Dushyant Kumar. Until next time, stay safe and enjoy the exciting world of cricket!

Tilak Varma: "That celebration was for my mom. The last few games were tough. I was going through a bad patch. I also included my best friend there.

Yes, last match I chatted with Laxman sir and Ruturaj and we can't get the gaps. The wicket is two-paced. I maintained good shape and get the gap and got the shots going.

Sir, actually, I play aggressive and was thinking to hit into the gaps and maintained the right positions and gap. Maintained the right posture and direction. Positive intent matters.

Yes sir, I have been working on my bowling. In Asia Cup, I was working with Paras sir and was working with Jadeja and Ashwin. My main motive is to get better in bowling and family.

Yes sir, that tattoo is of my mom and Dad. Thank you so much.

Yes, we have gone to hockey and Badminton and other sports. Different sports and different atmosphere to catch up with them. I love Badminton and met with PV Sindhu, Gopichand Sir and PT Usha Ma'am. So, enjoying my time. Thank You so much."
09:12 AM IST, 11:43 AM Local Time| That's it!!!!! India displayed absolute supremacy today, excelling in all aspects of the game. With a remarkable performance in batting, bowling, and fielding, they effortlessly chased down the target in just 9.2 overs, losing only one wicket. This emphatic victory has propelled them into the gold-medal match.

India's decision to field first proved astute as Bangladesh struggled to find their footing. Pervez Hossain Emon's painstaking 23 was the highest individual score, while most of the team faltered in single digits. Jaker Ali's resilient unbeaten 24* and Rakibul Hasan's brief cameo of 14 pushed Bangladesh to a modest 96/9 in 20 overs.

The Indian spinners, led by Sai Kishore (3/12) and Washington Sundar (2/15), dominated the proceedings. The disciplined bowling performance included contributions from Tilak Varma, Ravi Bishnoi, debutant Shahbaz Ahmed, and Arshdeep Singh, each grabbing a wicket.

In the chase of a modest total of 97 runs, India faced an early setback as Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed in the first over. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma took charge and quickly turned the game around. Gaikwad played aggressively, unleashing powerful shots, while Varma displayed finesse with his precise flick shots. Together, they utilized the powerplay to the fullest, scoring 68 runs.

The Bangladeshi bowlers seemed helpless as Gaikwad showcased impressive pull shots, and Varma's flicks were executed with precision. India's runs flowed effortlessly, and the duo's batting display was a delight to watch. Tilak Varma, in particular, was in sublime form, reaching his fifty in just 25 balls, showcasing his aggressive yet calculated approach. His unbeaten 55, coupled with Gaikwad's 40* runs, guided India to victory in just 9.2 overs.

From a bowling point of view, Bangladesh bowlers failed with the ball in hand today, they leaked easy runs and paid the price for it. Ripon Mondal scalped one wicket for Bangladesh.
