So that marks the end of our coverage from the Bronze Medal match of the Asian W-T20 2023 between Bangladesh Women and Pakistan Women. Bangladesh Women played really well throughout the innings to bag the medal beating their opposition.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, taking your leave on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Have a good day and keep CREXing to get more coverage of action packed cricket matches around the globe.
09:24 IST and 11:54 Local Time | Bangladesh Women registered a victory over their worthy opponent Pakistan Women today with just 10 balls and 5 wickets remaining to secure the Bronze Medal in the Asian W-T20 2023.

After being asked to bat first, Pakistan batters struggled heavily as Shawaal Zulfiqar departed early without troubling the scorer and Sidra Ameen, the other opener made only 1 run before her departure. The number 3 batter, Sadaf Shamas scored 13 runs facing 26 balls with a boundary. Natalia Pervaiz also struggled with timing as she scored 11 facing 24 balls. Pakistan's scoreboard crossed 60 runs, thanks to Aliya Riaz who scored 17 runs hitting a couple of boundaries. They ended up scoring 64 runs losing 9 wickets from their 20 overs.

With the ball for Bangladesh, Shorna Akter was the star of the show picking up 3 wickets giving away just 16 runs. Sanjida Akter Meghla took 2 wickets. Marufa Akter, Nahida Akter and Rabeya Khan shared three wickets between them.

Chasing 65 runs, Bangladeshi openers started off really well as they scored a couple of boundaries to post 27 runs from the first 5 overs. Shamima Sultana and Shathi Rani both scored 13 runs each. But soon they were in some discomfort as Nigar Sultana(2) and Sobhana Mostary(5) went back cheaply. But Shorna Akter held her nerves well and remained unbeaten till the end to score 14 from 33 balls. She scored the winning run by taking a couple.

Nashra Sandhu was the best Pakistani bowler picking up 3 wickets. Sadia Iqbal and captain Nida Dar took one wicket each but their bowling efforts were not enough to prevent their opponent to score 65.

In the end, Bangladesh Women played better than their opponent Pakistan Women to bag the Bronze Medal. Shorna Akter played really well through the innings both with bat and ball. Also with a complete team effort, Bangladesh secured a memorable win.
That's it!!! Bangladesh secured the Bronze Medal!!!!
