14:24 IST, 16:54 Local Time| They've done it! Sri Lanka Women's team has clinched victory and earned their spot in the Asian Games Final, where they'll square off against India. They have managed to defeat Pakistan Women by a margin of 6 wickets. As for Pakistan Women, they will now be vying for the bronze medal in a showdown against Bangladesh Women.

Earlier in the game, Sri Lanka Women's decision to field after winning the toss paid off as Pakistan Women found it tough to bat on a slow pitch. They scored only 18 runs in the powerplay and ended with 75/9 in 20 overs. Shawaal Zulfiqar was the top scorer with 16.

Udeshika Prabodhani was the standout bowler, taking 3 wickets, while Kavisha Dilhari claimed 2, and Inoshi Fernando, Inoka Ranaweera, and Achini Kulasuriya each took 1 wicket for Sri Lanka Women.

In pursuit of a modest target of 76 runs, Sri Lanka's innings got off to a shaky start as they lost their skipper, Chamari Athapaththu, in just the fourth over, managing to contribute 14 runs to the scoreboard. The early setbacks mounted pressure on the Sri Lankan Women's team.

The responsibility then fell squarely on the shoulders of Harshita Madavi and Nilakashi de Silva. The pitch was proving to be a challenge with some turn, making batting a tricky proposition. Madavi and de Silva showed great determination by carefully placing the ball into gaps and picking up singles.

Together, they managed to build a partnership of 35 runs for the 4th wicket. Madavi played a crucial role by contributing 23 runs before getting out. On the other hand, Nilakshi de Silva stayed at the crease until the end, finishing unbeaten with 18 runs, and she guided her team to victory in 16.3 overs.

From the bowling perspective, Sadia Iqbal, Diana Baig, and Umme Hani each took a wicket for Pakistan, making it a competitive match even though Sri Lanka was chasing a low target.
