That is it from our end as well. This is AkshayaKrishna Polya (2nd Innings), signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee (1st Innings) and Saptak Sanyal (1st Innings) brought you all live-action of this quickly wrapped first semi-final of the England Domestic One-Day Cup along with scorers/analysts Chandan Kr Singh and Yogesh Kumar. We will meet you again. Until then, it's cheers!
6:56 PM IST, 2:26 PM Local Time: Hampshire make it to the finals of the 2023 Metro Bank One-Day Cup! Simply ridiculous from Hampshire and Warwickshire had the worst performance coming in the semi-final, nothing bigger loss than this.

Opting to bowl first, Hampshire skittled out Warwickshire for a mere 93 runs in just 25.5 overs. Keith Barker (7-1-28-3) bowled a brilliant spell with the new ball and removed the top three batters of the opposition. Ed Barnard (26 off 24) was going well in the Powerplay but didn't have any answer to Barker's masterclass swing bowling.

Liam Dawson came into the attack and right from the get-go was unplayable. Warwickshire lost wickets at regular intervals and lost all the remaining ones to the left-arm spinner Dawson with him finishing with figures of 6.5-0-15-7. Sam Hain remained unbeaten on 33  off 48 balls and could just witness the mishap happening at the other end. It happened pretty quickly for the Bears as they lost their last five wickets for just 2 runs.

Chasing 94 to book the final's ticket, Hampshire openers Fletcha Middleton and Nick Gubbins provided a steady start, adding 45 runs in the Powerplay. Gubbins was the only casualty in the run chase with Jacob Lintott trapping the southpaw leg before wicket in the last ball of the field restrictions.

Middleton enjoyed his time out in the middle and saw his team through to the victory line along with Tom Prest, who struck the winning runs in the 20th over. Middleton (54* off 65) and Prest (31* off 25) were involved in an unbeaten 50-run partnership with the former completing his individual half-century.

If a perfect game ever exists, then this one will definitely stay at the top. Hampshire cruise onto the summit clash that is set to be played on September 16, 2023. They will sit and wait for the result of the second semi-final to know their rivals!
19.1 Lintott to T Prest
6 SIXXXXX!!! Final nail in the coffin of Warwickshire! Over the wicket. Full and at the stumps. Prest is down the pitch and gets to the pitch as well. Uses the long levers and clubs this down the ground. Hits through the line and smokes it high and handsome way over the head of the bowler for a massive six. Hampshire thrash Warwickshire by 9 wickets and through to the final!
