That's it for this game, everyone. We hope you enjoyed this live coverage. Do switch tabs and follow the second game of the day between the Bengaluru Blasters and the Shivamogga Lions which gets underway in one hour's time. It's going to be a spicy contest to close out the league phase of the Maharaja Trophy so do tune in. For now, on behalf of Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. This is Navjeevan Rajput signing off.
Vijaykumar Vyshak (Gulbarga Mystics Captain): "Yea of course, happy the way the boys played. We were right on the money from ball one. It was a crucial game and our bowlers hit the right areas today. We always knew they were going to come hard so getting a couple of wickets in quick time helped us to turn it around. Yea, that was the plan. Aneesh was batting well in the practice games so we decided to give him a go at the top today with Chethan. Hopefully, we turn up tomorrow too like today in the semi-finals."

4:15 PM IST: Time for the post-match presentation.
16:12 IST: The Mystics become the third team to march on into the semi-finals and get a Q against their name. The Dragons have lost and left it to fate to decide if they play the semi-finals tomorrow or not.

Coming in to chase a target of 145 runs. The Mystics openers provided their side with a quick and stable start. Chethan and Aneesh kept finding the boundaries and scored at almost 10 runs per over to keep their side well ahead in this chase. Both batters went on to score a half-century and stitched a 114-run opening partnership. Chethan was dismissed but Aneesh carried on and got his side across the line with 27 balls to spare.

The Dragons threw it away with the bat early on and got bundled out for 144 runs. Defending an under-par total, the Dragons could not get wickets early on or keep it tight. They took a bit of tapping from both the Mystics openers, and it was too late before their skipper Gowtham got a couple of wickets in the 12th over to slow down the Mystics just a bit. However, they couldn't avoid a crushing defeat today.

The Dragons will now wish for the Lions to lose against the Blasters in the last league game coming up next if they are to make their place into the semi-finals.
