This is Navjeevan Rajput signing off.
Manish Pandey (Hubli Tigers Captain): "Yea, I always said that I would like to contribute with the bat too. I made an error yesterday but was happy to learn from that mistake and do well today. Yea I mean we decided as a whole team we have to bowl like we are defending 40 runs in the last four overs and we stepped up in the death overs. Manvanth did great for us as he got a five-fer, Cariappa was fantastic too."

4:47 PM IST: Time for the post-match presentation.
16:38 IST: A comfortable win for the Tigers and they further extend their lead at the top despite already being qualified for the semi-finals.

The Tigers deciding to bowl first were hammered around for the first three-quarters but they came back strong in the death overs and almost bundled out the Dragons. Coming in to chase down a target of 168 runs. The Tigers were taken off to a flier by Taha who scored a fifty and lost his wicket. The Tigers dominated the first half of the run-chase but were slowed down after that as wickets started to fall regularly. However, skipper Pandey (56*) rose up to the occasion and got his side across the line along with Mohith (20*).

Batting first, the Dragons lost wickets at the backend in clusters and could post just 167 runs on the board. Defending their total, they were dominated by Taha in the first half of the run-chase. Doddamani was the standout bowler for them as he registered 3/34 bowling his 3.2 overs. Arya and skipper Gowtham did get a wicket each but overall, the Dragons could not put any sort of pressure on the Tigers. In the end, the Dragons lost the game in the penultimate over.

So then, the Tigers are qualified but the other three spots for the semi-finals are still pretty much open. The Dragons now need to win their final game which they will be playing tomorrow or it could get pretty tight for them.
