Milestone
That concludes our coverage as well. A comfortable victory for Gulbarga Mystics in the 16th match of  Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ajay Ahire, Ninaad Dixit, and scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
Vijaykumar Vyshak (Player of the Match & Winning Captain): "Yes obviously happy with the performance, boys did really well in the last game but sadly ended on the wrong side. Abhilash bowled well as he has been doing for us over the period and bowling first on this wicket was a good decision I guess. The plan was simple with the bat, the openers played in their way but it didn't go well today, it's a game so it happens. We were trying to hit the length and bowling to the field and it worked for us."

Time for the post-match presentation.
9:06 PM IST | Deepak: A comprehensive victory for Gulbarga Mystics as they thumped Mangaluru Dragons by 5 wickets with 17 balls to spare.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Mangaluru Dragons showed a pathetic batting performance and were restricted to a below-par 120/9. Gaurav Dhiman was the top scorer for them, scoring 27 runs off 22 balls. Aditya Goyal’s 22 runs off 19 balls at the cue end of the innings has helped the Dragons post a respectable total. Abhilash Shetty, Vyashak Vijay Kumar, and Amit Verma bagged a couple of wickets each for the Mystics. Sharan Goud and Macneil Hadley Noronha chipped in with a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of Dragons’ 120 runs, Gulbarga Mystics didn’t get the start they wanted as they lost LR Chethan and Aadarsh Prajwal for a mere 8 and 2 runs, respectively. Macneil Hadley Noronha and Smaran R started the rescue work, and the duo released the pressure by smashing a few boundaries.

Macneil departed for 16 runs off 20 balls. Srinivas Sharath joined Smaran, and the pair took the game too far from the Dragons. The Dragons managed to extract the wicket of Sharath (20 off 17), but Smaran continued his onslaught to complete his half-century and remain unbeaten on 62 runs off 42 balls. Eventually, Gulbarga Mystics chased down 121 runs by 5 wickets with 17 balls to spare.

Sankalp Shettennavar, Aditya Goyal, Krishnappa Gowtham, Aniruddha Joshi, and Gaurav Dhiman extracted a solitary wicket for Mangaluru Dragons.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations and the winning captain's speaking. 🗣
17.2 S Shettennavar to A Verma
WD A wide ball from Sankalp and that's it...The bowler is not happy with the decision but it doesn't matter now. He bangs that one short outside the off. It was close to the tramline and the umpire stretches his arms. With this Gulbarga beats Mangaluru by 5 wickets.
The scores are level now.
17.1 S Shettennavar to R Smaran
1 Scores are level now. Low full toss outside the off. Smaran plays it along the ground towards the deep cover for a single.
Sankalp is back in the attack.

W WICKET!!! On the second attempt but he completes the catch. Gaurav bowls a slower one this time on the off. Avinash looks to deposit that one but gets the toe end but Rohan Patil at long-off comes forward and completes the catch...
Boundary Check! The fielder in the deep does well here and saves a couple of runs.
