We bowled really well till the 17th over, the last 3 were expensive and we will discuss this in the meeting. The openers gave us a lovely start and well finished by Bharath and Shrijith, really happy and hoping to continue like this.
We had some plans before the match starts and by the time we reach here we know what we want to do. On the field it's 50/50 calls with my bowlers and we just have to execute really well. Even if it's a low total we didn't want our batters to change the style, this is what has brought them success this year and we don't want to restrict them.

8:54 PM IST | Hubli Tigers have outclassed their opposition today! They defeat a hapless Shivamogga Lions by 8 wickets. The Tigers outperformed their counterparts in all three departments tonight.
Hubli Tigers won the toss and elected to bowl first, after a cautious start by both teams Nihal Ullal was run-out on the first ball of the fourth over and the Tigers did not look back after that. They kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals to leave the Lions reeling at 82/7 after the 15 overs!
Thanks to Pranav Bhatia's unbeaten 46 runs off 30 balls and S Shivaraj's 21 runs off 14 balls, the Lions were able to register a defendable total of 138/8 from their 20 overs. Manvanth Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for his figures of 3/23 from his 3 overs.
Come the chase, the best opening combination of this year's Maharaja Trophy stepped out and proved themselves worthy of their title. Luvnith Sisodia and Mohammad Taha once again registered a blistering 85 run opening stand inside the first 10 overs to put their team in cruise control of the chase.
Luvnith Sisodia eventually ended up scoring 69 runs off 46 balls to bring his team within 10 runs of victory before he fell to Pranav Bhatia. Bharath and Shrijith ensured their team reached victory without anymore losses.
Hubli Tigers were dominant and elated after victory while Shivamogga Lions will go back to the drawing board and look to improve further.
