4:56 PM IST | Well that's all she wrote for this match folks! There's another clash scheduled for 5:30 PM IST in the Maharaja trophy but it all depends on the rain gods now! Stay Tuned with us for updates.

This is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar! See you on the next one.
Karun Nair (Mysore Warriors Captain): "Yes, like I said at the toss. It was important to continue the job as a batting group. CA Karthik stood up and then Manoj and Suchith finished things off well. Areas to improve is to not lose wickets in the middle overs. It's about laying the platform and capitalising on the bowlers for the last few overs. Good to see. Just instincts telling me. I knew Mayank for a long time. So, brought on Suchith and he got the wicket. Hope to continue this way in the future. We took some time to understand the bowlers. They are understanding the roles and we are learning each game. Really happy with everyone chipping in and hope to continue the good work. Looking forward to the game tomorrow."
Player of the Match: CA Karthik.
Trusted Player of the Match: Jagdeesha Suchith.

4:48 PM IST | Update coming in that the match has been decided via VJD Method! Mysore Warriors win by 33 runs! The rain gods have spelled an early end to the game here and it looked like it was a Mysore victory with or without the interruption.

Earlier in the day Bengaluru Blasters won the toss and elected to bowl first, and the decision looked to be a good one.
An early controversial wicket of Samarth was followed up by Karun Nair's dismissal. Karthik took over and smashed a 43 ball 62 to bring his team back in the game.

However, no other batter seemed to get going and after Karthik's dismissal, it looked like a low scoring encounter. Enter Suchith and Bhandage, the duo smashed the Bengaluru bowlers around the park to power their team to the 185 run-mark with the total being set at 185/7 at the end of their 20 overs.

Shubhang Hegde was the pick of the bowlers for his figures of 4/23 after 4 overs.

Come the chase, things did not start well for Bengaluru Blasters. They lost 3 wickets in the powerplay while the scoreboard read 44/3 after the first 6 overs. Suraj Ahuja was looking in sublime touch as he scored a quick 31 runs off 20 balls before the rain decided to come in the 12th over.

Play never resumed after that break and in the end Mysore Warriors were declared winners by VJD method.
4:36 PM IST: Nothing much to report as it continues to rain in Bengaluru. The covers are firmly in place.
3:54 PM: Rain has arrived and the groundsmen run with the covers. It's raining hard here and the players rush off the ground. It's very overcast and let's hope this is just a passing shower.  As we speak, it is pouring down in Bengaluru.
