Manish Pandey ( Hubli Tigers Captain): " Yeah absolutely we planned for and we spent lots of days for this and we practised a lot. We had to plan to bowl and we got. The spinner came into the picture and we did well. In batting also well performed well. Special innings from Taha. He's been a fantastic man he put runs in practice games too and hope he'll continue like this. Definitely, that powerplay went really well for us and we got some wickets in the middle overs and we did well overall."
Mitrakanth | Player of the match: "The pitch felt normal, and the captain said to keep it simple and not try anything extraordinary. Very happy to be here, and to see the support."

09.12 PM IST and Local: Hubli Tigers showcased a strong performance and secured their first victory in the tournament. They displayed dominance in batting, bowling, and fielding, resulting in a convincing 9-wicket win over Mysore Warriors through the VJD method.

Earlier, Hubli Tigers chose to bowl first. Mysore Warriors struggled early, reaching 30/2 in 6 overs. Samarth and Rawat tried to stabilize, adding 19 runs. Samarth scored 21, and later, Suchith and Dhuri managed to add 25 runs. Mysore Warriors finished at 111/9 in 20 overs, with lower-order resilience.

Hubli Tigers' bowlers delivered an excellent performance. Mitrakanth Yadav stood out with 3 wickets for 17 runs, while Kaushal and Kaverappa took 2 wickets each. Dubey and Cariappa secured a wicket apiece.

Chasing a target of 112 runs, Hubli Tigers began with Luvnith Sujith Sisodia and Mohammed Taha. Despite losing Sisodia early in the first over, the partnership of Mohammed Taha and KL Shrijith thrived, amassing 51 runs in just 4.3 overs. However, heavy rain interrupted play for about an hour, leading to a revised target of 80 runs in 13 overs following the VJD method.

Back on the field, Mohammed Taha displayed exceptional form, crafting an unbeaten 61 runs off 30 balls, inclusive of 9 fours and 3 sixes. His partner Shrijith contributed an undefeated 17 runs from 16 balls, guided by two fours. Hubli Tigers comfortably secured victory, reaching 80 runs in 8.1 overs with only 1 wicket lost.

Mysore Warriors' bowling unit faced challenges, with Prasidh Krishna being the sole wicket-taker on a day that didn't favor them.
