Rohit Sharma (India Captain and Player of the Match): "It was incredible. This was not possible in Tests, it happened in IPL. But it was great game and good to get the win. We challenged ourselves and put us in tough situations and glad to get the win in the end. Rinku is a great cricketer. He keeps close and shows his game plan. He has shown great improvement and has carried on from the IPL. I am happy with my performance, but glad we got the win in the end. Rinku Singh was the breakout star and so was Shivam Dube."
Shivam Dube (Player of the Series): "Yes, definitely. Always as an all-rounder, good to get the Player of the series and good to contribute to the team. Yes, great game. Never thought we would get to the Super Over but this is cricket. I am getting better at my game and hope to do well in the coming games. I mean I am constantly improving my game."

Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan Captain): "To be honest I am very happy with the overall performance. Unfortunately we lost in the super over but we did well in the game.
We got lots of positives thanks to the series. It will help us for the coming games for the T20 World cup. After that we have Sri Lanka series. We will have a good series over there. All boys gave their best in these 3 games.
We never played those kind of games against big teams like India. We haven't played this brand of cricket especially in T20. We were very good in the batting department. We were trying to rotate strike, etc."

Me and Avesh both were asked to be ready but looking at the 2 right handers and a longer boundary in the leg side I was tasked with the job.
My plan was to bowl stump to stump and back of a length so that it becomes hard for them to hit forward. I was happy in the batters scoring off the backfoot.
I am enjoying playing for the country and defending in a super over. I am bowling well and delivering nicely. I will try to do better in the Ranji Trophy as well.
I am trying to bowl leg breaks as well. I got some assistance in the Ranji Trophy as well bowling the leggie."
