Mitchell Santner (Player of the Match & New Zealand Captain): "Yeah, it was nice to get a win. I was just thinking about changing the pace, trying to get a bit of bounce out of the wicket. But I think as a whole, you know, the seamers bowled extremely well as well to keep them to 110 on a pretty good pitch. We knew up top that the powerplay was key and we did extremely well to take wickets in the powerplay."

It was a low scoring topsy turvy game and in the end, New Zealand ends up on the winning side by 17 runs under the DLS method. They level the series 1-1 after the 3-match series. Bangladesh fought hard with the ball, but New Zealand held their nerve in the end.
