PLAYER OF THE MATCH: WILL YOUNG
This is New Zealand's 10th win in as many games in Dunedin. They have an unbelievable ODI record at this venue.
12:00 PM IST, 7:30 PM Local Time: So, a good win for New Zealand as they upstage Bangladesh by 44 runs under the DLS method in what was a rain interrupted never ending game. They played better than Bangladesh in all facets of the game and staved off a spirited challenge by the Tigers.

Let's recap you the game as a whole which was disrupted by rain thrice and eventually reduced to 30 overs a side. New Zealand lost two early wickets to Shoriful Islam as Rachin Ravindra and Henry Nicholls departed for second ball ducks. But that was the only joy Bangladesh could have as the duo of Tom Latham and Will Young put on 171 for the third wicket. Latham scored 92 off 77 balls but Will Young stepped forward and scored 105 off 84 balls. It was his 3rd ODI hundred. Mark Chapman scored 20 off 11 balls in the end and 19 extras were given by Bangladesh. Lots of run outs were effected in the end as the Kiwis finished with 239/7 in 30 overs.

From Bangladesh's point of view, Shoriful Islam got a couple of wickets for 28 runs in his 6 overs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz got the other wicket with the ball while there were flurry of run outs in the end for New Zealand. Bangladesh found wanting with the ball.

Chasing a revised target of 245 in 30 overs under DLS method, Bangladesh lost Soumya Sarkar early. Anamul Haque played well for his 43. Litton Das scored 22. Towhid Hridoy looked good for his 33 while Afif took it on for his 38 off 28 balls. Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 28* off 21 balls in the end as Bangladesh ended with a respectable 200/9 in 30 overs. Only 8 extras given by New Zealand.

From New Zealand's bowling point of view, wickets were shared amongst the bowlers. A couple of wickets each for Adam Milne, Ish Sodhi and Josh Clarkson. While Jacob Duffy, William O'Rourke, and Rachin Ravindra got a wicket each. All in all, New Zealand did enough to win the game.

So, a win by New Zealand by 44 runs under DLS method as they go 1-0 up in the series..

29.6 W ORourke to H Mahmud
W WICKETTTT!!!! William O'Rourke has something to cheer about right at the back end of the game! He gets his maiden wicket for New Zealand. A perfect pace-on yorker at the stumps. Mahmud makes room, but fails to get his bat down in time, getting beaten on the bottom edge. It sneaks through to break the base of the stumps. New Zealand kept their unbeaten ODI record at this venue intact as they defeat the visiting Bangladesh side by 44 runs on DLS in a rain-hit game!
29.5 W ORourke to H Mahmud
0 Short ball around the off-stump. Mahmud stays tall, dropping it to point.
The 200 comes up for Bangladesh in the 30th and final over of the match.
29.4 W ORourke to Miraz
1 Slower short ball that keeps on climbing at the batter. Miraz gets into an awkward position and he fends it in the leg side for a single.
29.3 W ORourke to H Mahmud
1 Full and at the off-stump. Pushed to extra cover for a quick single. A direct hit at the bowler's end would have been interesting.
29.2 W ORourke to H Mahmud
0 Good length delivery at the stumps. Mahmud stays back and drops it to point. It's a small mix-up, but in the end, life is okay for the two batters. Ravindra misses the shya the bowler's end.
29.1 W ORourke to Miraz
1 Short ball outside the off-stump from over the wicket. Miraz jumps at it, hangs his bat and gets an outside half of the bat to deep third man for one.
