New Zealand lost two early wickets to Shoriful Islam as Rachin Ravindra and Henry Nicholls departed for second ball ducks. But that was the only joy Bangladesh could have as the duo of Tom Latham and Will Young put on 171 for the third wicket. Latham scored 92 off 77 balls but Will Young stepped forward and scored 105 off 84 balls. It was his 3rd ODI hundred. Mark Chapman scored 20 off 11 balls in the end and 19 extras were given by Bangladesh. Lots of run outs were effected in the end as the Kiwis finished with 239/7 in 30 overs.

W WICKETTTT!!!! William O'Rourke has something to cheer about right at the back end of the game! He gets his maiden wicket for New Zealand. A perfect pace-on yorker at the stumps. Mahmud makes room, but fails to get his bat down in time, getting beaten on the bottom edge. It sneaks through to break the base of the stumps. New Zealand kept their unbeaten ODI record at this venue intact as they defeat the visiting Bangladesh side by 44 runs on DLS in a rain-hit game!
