That's it from the coverage of this game. Both teams will come back on Sunday for the next game at the same venue. Do join us for that game and for all other fixtures around the globe and across formats, stick around to our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Anirudh Modi alongside scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Heather Knight (England Women Captain): "Really pleased with the performance. Kiwis started well and we showed character to get to the total. Then they came out flying and then the spinners came to the party and pulled it back in middle overs. Yes, Smith got a wicket and looked good out there and then quality bowlers like Dean and Glenn helps us a lot. Good thing that we have bowlers for situations and Lauren bowled well at the end. 150 was par I felt and we showed our character and we backed our bowlers to do the job for us. They showed great character. Thank You and see you on Sunday."
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Skipper): "We got starts but did not maintain the momentum. We put them under pressure with the ball but lost our way towards the end, and with the bat too we had a good start but lost it as we went on. We need to make sure when we are in that kind of a position, we need to restrict them to 120-140.

150 was on par, and we gave away 20-30 runs extra but we thought if we had a good start we will take the victory but that has not happened. The pace off deliveries were tricky to deal with for the younger group and it's great for them to have this experience against a quality England side, it's about improving with every day."
Heather Knight (Player of the Match): "Find it quite hard to play on this surface and it was quite tricky but I backed myself to try and stick and the go hard at the end. You want to keep the pressure on the opposition and try to keep the innings together but yeah a couple of partnerships and the bowlers like Charlie Dean really helped us.

We are working hard on different shots and lineups and our plans and it's always feels more nervous when you have ups and downs in cricket and how you manage yourself in that situation is the name of the game."
8:25 AM IST, 3:55 PM Local Time: That's the end of the game and an impressive win for England Women as they came back from a tough situation to win the game by 15 runs and take a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series. New Zealand were good throughout but lost the key moments of the game and now have a mountain to climb in the series.

Chasing 150 for the win, New Zealand had their moments but lost wickets at the wrong time. Bezuidenhout went cheaply. Suzie Bates scored 19. Amelia Kerr held the innings together for her 44. Skipper Sophie Devine scored 17. Maddy Green scored 16. Lea Tahuhu scored 15 off 9 in the end. But it was a bridge too far as New Zealand finished with 134/8 in 20 overs losing by 15 runs.

All the England bowlers bowled well. A couple of wickets apiece for Lauren Bell, and Charlie Dean. A wicket apiece for Gibson, Linsey Smith, and Sarah Glenn as well. England were good when it really mattered.

Earlier in the game, New Zealand sent England into bat first. England lost Dunkley early. Tammy Beaumont scored 19 while Maia Bouchier scored 12. But it was skipper Heather Knight who held the innings together and accelerated when it mattered as she scored an unbeaten 56* off 40 balls. Gibson scored 14 while Charlie Dean scored 16 off 14 balls. Sarah Glenn scored 13* off 6 balls in the end. They recovered from 77/6 to get to 149/7 in 20 overs. England got 69 in the last 6 overs and that was the big difference in the end.

For New Zealand, they kept things under check for majority of the part and then lost their way in the end overs. Rosemary Mair was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/25 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for skipper Sophie Devine who went for 18 in her final over she bowled. A wicket apiece for Lea Tahuhu, Fran Jonas, and Amelia Kerr. Jess Kerr returned wicketless despite bowling a miserly spell.

So, England Women wins by 15 runs and take a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series. Stay tuned for the presentations.
