9:26 AM IST, 13:56 Local Time: A humiliating defeat for Hobart Hurricanes Women as they are bundled out for just 131 runs in pursuit of a hefty 184 runs. 

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Brisbane Heat Women posted a formidable 184/5 in 20 overs. They lost Grace Harris for just 10 runs, but Georgia Redmayne and Bess Heath laid a solid foundation and forged 92 runs for the second wicket. Heath scored at a brisk pace from the word go and scored 51 runs off 26 balls. On the other hand, Redmayne remained unbeaten till the end and scored 70 runs off 53 balls, helping her side post a formidable total on the board. Mignon du Preez played a short cameo of 26* runs off 15 balls at the cue end of the innings. 

Shabnim Ismail bagged a couple of wickets for the Hurricanes Women, while Heather Graham celebrated a single wicket. 

In pursuit of a hefty total, Hobart Hurricanes Women got off to a solid start as Lizelle Lee and Bryony Smith scored at a brisk pace from the word go and added 48 runs for the first wicket. Lee departed for 24 runs off 18 balls and she was soon followed by Smith in the next over, who contributed 28 runs off 19 balls and fell prey to Amelia Kerr. 

Following the wickets of both openers, Hurricanes started falling like a pack of cards in the middle overs. Nicola Carey tried to hold her wicket from one end but failed to do so and departed for 27 runs off 23 balls. 

Wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals for the Hurricanes and eventually, they were bundled out for 131 runs, falling 53 runs short of the target. 

Skipper Jess Jonassen shone with the ball for the home side, bagging four wickets for 20 runs in 3.3 overs. Courtney Sippel chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Nicola Hancock, Amelia Kerr, and Charli Knott contributed one wicket to Hurricanes' downfall.

Full length ball at the leg and middle stump from round the wicket. Hayley got down on one knee to play a slog sweep but got huge top edge. Mignon du Preez from short fine leg, ran to her left to take the simplest of the catches.
