That's it from an enthralling contest between Adelaide Strikers and the Melbourne Renegades. The home side dominated in all the fronts and took their first points of the tournament. Ninaad Dixit here, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Dushyant Kumar. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Player of the Match: Harmanpreet Kaur.
11:58 AM IST, 5:28 PM Local Time: The Melbourne Renegades get the first points of this campaign winning by a heavy margin of 81 runs against the Adelaide Strikers at the Junction Oval in Melbourne.

Quick recap to the match as the confident Strikers skipper Tahlia McGrath won the toss and elected to bowl first. The top 5 all scored in double figures for the 'Gades with Courtney Webb (49*) and Harmanpreet Kaur (43*) adding 93 runs for the fourth wicket finishing at 167/3.

The Strikers batting didn't get a good start too with both the openers returning to the hut for 23 runs on the board. Skipper McGrath top scored with 31 in 25 balls and hit the only six of the match.

She was dismissed by her opposite number Hayley Matthews during the power surge in the 12th over. Since then, the women in blue failed to get their innings together and collapsed. Ella Hayward (2/18), Matthews (2/20), Georgia Wareham (2/23) and Harmanpreet Kaur (2/11) all shared a wicket apiece with Sarah Coyte taking one and affecting a run out. It was Kaur who finished the batting innings and the bowling innings as well with the final wicket going in her kitty.

The Renegades now have 2 points next to their name and are the number 3 team in the WBBL table. Strikers fall down from number 2 to 4, also having a couple of points on their slate.
14.5 H Kaur to M Schutt
W GONE! It's all over!! Poor delivery from Harmanpreet Kaur but a poorer effort from Megan Schutt to play that ball! Short and pitching on the leg stump spinning down leg. Schutt looks to paddle this in the leg side and gets it off the back of the bat. The ball changes its direction, pops up and takes the off stump bail with it!
14.4 H Kaur to A Mushangwe
1 Short ball on the off stump, Mushangwe rocks back and chops this towards deep point for her second run.
14.3 H Kaur to M Schutt
1 Good length but ill directed down the leg side. Schutt sweeps and finds the diving fine leg fielder inside the ring making a half stop.
14.2 H Kaur to A Mushangwe
1 Short and just outside the off stump turning back in. Mushangwe cuts towards deep point for a single.
Anesu Mushangwe is the last batter for the Strikers.
14.1 H Kaur to G Adams
W GONE!! Harman also gets her name in wickets! Over the wicket, length delivery outside the line of off stump. Adams gets down on a knee looking to play the slog sweep and gets a big top edge. The ball goes high but doesn't travel any distance. Erica Kershaw at short midwicket takes a simple catch, Adams walks back disappointed.
Harmanpreet Kaur comes back into the attack.
