So, that’s all the action from the Zim Afro T10 2023. Durban Qalandars have been crowned champions at the Harare Sports Club after defeating Joburg Buffaloes by 8 wickets in the summit clash. We hoped you enjoyed our coverage throughout the inaugural season of the tournament. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. For now, this is Megh Mandaliya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Cheers!
Craig Ervine collects the trophy from the dignitaries and hands it over to his teammates. The Durban Qalandars are the champions of the Zim Afro T10 2023 as the celebrations have begun in their camp at the Harare Sports Club.
Craig Ervine(Durban Qalandars Captain): " I don't think I can even put in words, how special it is. The boys put in a lot of work in the last week and a half, it all paid off tonight. I think we have been playing really well whole throughout the tournament, I don't think we needed to change anything. I thought tonight, our main players took the initiative and took the team over the line, they have been doing the whole thorough out the tournament.

(Speaking about the Owners) Credit to everybody that put in their efforts. Certainly, I have watched PSL a bit and they have been successful in the PSL. They came to Zimbabwe a couple of weeks ago and ran their development program. They have got a lot of investment into their franchise and into their system. It's the reason they are reaping the results.

I think right from the first day, when we got together everyone gelled together and put their hands up. Yeah, Tim was outstanding at the start of the tournament. Brad was pretty good to he learned to bowl the slower balls too."
Winning medals πŸ₯‡ are been presented to the Durban Qalandars team players and support staff.
Runner-up medals πŸ₯ˆ are been presented to the Joburg Buffaloes team players and support staff.
Tim Seifert (Player of the Tournament): "Yeah, it's always nice to do well in your tournament. It's always nice to contribute and get the win. Look it's T10 cricket, so anyone can win on their day. But we have been fairly consistent throughout the tournament. You are gonna lose a couple of games here and there. It's just the nature of the game. But everyone chipped in and it was a complete team performance. Yeah, Zimbabwe has always been a great place. It's been outstanding and great fun."

Mohammad Amir: " Feeling sore, to be honest, when I arrived here played straight away two games, from 44 degrees to I shifted to 12 degrees so I felt sore. Yeah, it fantastic feeling, the crowd is very good. Apart from one game, I did really well. It's all gone now as we have won the final. It's part of game, one day we will have a good game and other day we can't.
Tendai Chatara: "Yeah, the first 10 days were hard. Playing day in and day out. Yeah, very thrilled. It was a great tournament for us. It's always a great feeling to win a tournament. We played some good cricket and it was amazing cricket in the last 10 days."
George Linde: " Yeah, obviously I came in at a time when pressure was on, I gave 7 runs and took a wicket. Tom was going well but good to pick some wickets. At the half point, we thought we restricted them pretty well, in the death overs we bowled well. We will have a big celebration tonight."
Brad Evans: "I discovered the slower one that was coming off really. So, I tried to use that as much as possible. Our plans were simple throughout the tournament. We knew we are gonna hit for boundaries as the wickets were two-pacers. What a spectacle it has been for the crowd. Great to be a part of this tournament."
