That's it from this game as another double header in Lanka Premier League comes to an end. We will be back with another double header tomorrow. Do join us for those matches and for all other fixtures around the globe across formats, stick around to our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee bidding you farewell on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Thisara Perera (Jaffna Kings Captain): "I want to say about my bowlers as they did very well today. I was very surprised because there was no dew yesterday and today it was dew on the ground, and luckily we bowled first. We rested two players today, but I have a good bench of players and I am happy. Sometimes I can't give him (Wellalage) bowling, it all depends on the wicket."
Dasun Shanaka (Galle Titans Captain): "Of course, a tough night for us. Need to think twice about batting first. But they deserve the credit for this win. We should have batted better and score 150 which would be competitive. These things happen. Shakib and others batted well in the previous game. These things happen in cricket, you will have good days and bad days always. Hope to come back in the next game."
Dunith Wellalage (Player of the Match): "Yeah, especially these days I practice really well and the coaching staff supported me well. The pitch is a bit slow and tried to bowl at different variations. I actually trust myself and my team, especially the skipper, he gave me great support."
10:31 PM IST & Local Time: Time for the post-match presentation.
10:23 PM IST and Local Time: A professional performance from the Jaffna Kings as the defending champions have outplayed their opposition in all facets of the game to win by 8 wickets with 7.2 overs to spare. Galle Titans have just crash landed here and have been given a rude wake up call tonight.

Chasing a paltry 118 for the win, Jaffna Kings lost Charith Asalanka quite early in the innings. Rahmanullah Gurbaz stood tall and scored a brilliant 54 off 39 balls. Giving him good company was Towhid Hridoy who remained unbeaten on 44* off 23 balls. David Miller was 7* off 4 balls. 10 extras were given by the fielding side as they finished the chase in 12.4 overs.

The bowlers of Galle Titans had a very low score to defend and couldn't do much. Shakib Al Hasan picking up both the wickets as he finished with 2/31 in 4 overs. The rest of the bowlers remained wicketless as it was a night to forget for them.

Earlier in the day, Galle Titans won the toss and decided to bat first. The openers got off to a steady start with Lasith Croospulle scoring 19 off 12 balls. Shevon Daniel scored 25 off 25 balls. Tim Seifert scored 18 off 23 balls as it was an uneasy stay out there for him. The innings fell away after that. Dasun Shanaka their skipper tried with his 30 off 24 balls but he too fell towards the end as the innings nosedived to a bad end. The rest of the batters were in single digit score as they ended with 117/9 in 20 overs.

From Jaffna's bowling point of view, Dunith Wellalage was the star and the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/10 in 4 overs. Nandre Burger picked up a couple of wickets for his 15 runs in 2 overs. Maheesh Theekshana bowled a miserly spell as he gave away 19 runs in 4 overs and picked up a wicket. A wicket for Charith Asalanka and Nuwan Thushara as well to show for. The bowlers set the match up and the batters romped home in style.

So, Jaffna Kings get their second win in three games and by virtue of their Net Run Rate, they go top of the points table. Stick around for the presentations that follow next.
