I was very surprised because there was no dew yesterday and today it was dew on the ground, and luckily we bowled first. We rested two players today, but I have a good bench of players and I am happy. Sometimes I can't give him (Wellalage) bowling, it all depends on the wicket."
Dasun Shanaka (Galle Titans Captain): "Of course, a tough night for us. Need to think twice about batting first. But they deserve the credit for this win. We should have batted better and score 150 which would be competitive. These things happen. Shakib and others batted well in the previous game. Chasing a paltry 118 for the win, Jaffna Kings lost Charith Asalanka quite early in the innings. Rahmanullah Gurbaz stood tall and scored a brilliant 54 off 39 balls. Giving him good company was Towhid Hridoy who remained unbeaten on 44* off 23 balls. David Miller was 7* off 4 balls. 10 extras were given by the fielding side as they finished the chase in 12.4 overs.
The bowlers of Galle Titans had a very low score to defend and couldn't do much. Shakib Al Hasan picking up both the wickets as he finished with 2/31 in 4 overs. The rest of the bowlers remained wicketless as it was a night to forget for them.
