That brings the curtains on our coverage of this Big Bash League game. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta, taking your leave on behalf of my co-commentator, Ninaad and our Scorer/ Analyst, Manish Bishnoi. See you soon!
Steve O'Keefe (Player of the Match): "It was a good night. Around 40,000 people, the biggest crowd we've ever had out here. We were in for a bit of a contest the way Thunder started off. Looked like Davey was going to have one of those nights but just liked the resilience from the group they bounced back really well.

The guys were really connected and talking about how are we gonna play in the next over and really good polished performance in the last 16 overs.

It's a different role but that's the beauty of Moises. He goes into the game very objectively and what he sees out there on the wicket. We decided a bit of wobbled seam and inconsistent bounce might suit the quicks early on.

You just gotta be ready to go whenever. It's a different role but I am quite comfortable bowling through the middle and there in the end. Particularly here with the invariable bounce so just happy to contribute being part of the winning team.

Its just great to have guys like David Warner and Steve Smith here. Last time we were here there were 35 thousand and whenever we get these Aussie guys back there is a buzz around town and here at the ground so I certainly enjoyed bowling against him and playing with and against him for a long long time. Really proud of what he is done and what an effort to come back today.

Its a really tough format. You have to stay consistent but a lot has to go down to management, great coaches who know how to win. Greg Shipperd in particular and we have got Cameron White."

17:07 IST, 22:37 Local time- The Sydney Sixers have clinched this "Derby" in some style here and they've bundled out their arch rivals for just a 132 runs in 19.5 overs. It has been an emphatic victory for them and they've dominated with the ball big time here. The Thunder lost their ten wickets for just 88 runs in the end and it was a disappointing batting effort from them.

The Thunder got off to an excellent start in the Powerplay as they kept going all guns blazing. Alex Hales put on a dazzling display of strokes as he struck six boundaries inside the first four overs. Warner played second fiddle but didn't hold back as he smashed two sixes himself.

The problems began for the Thunder right after the Powerplay as Steve O'Keefe came in and cleaned up Hales and Cameron Bancroft in the same over. Tom Kohler Cadmore struck around with Warner for a while but he couldn't contribute much as he was kept quite and in the end lost his wicket trying to play the big stroke.

David Warner was left stranded at one end as the wickets kept tumbling from the other. The Thunder lost more than five wickets in the middle overs and barely scored the boundaries which cost them badly. The pressure got eventually to the legend Warner and he fell in the 17th over for 37 runs. Once he was gone, the writing was on the ball and the tail enders surrendered quite quickly.

Steve O'Keefe, the veteran left arm spinner was the star of the show with the ball in hand as he picked up three wickets and it was a match winning effort from him. He was backed up quite efficiently by Dwarshuis and Kerr who kept things tidy and also chipped in with the wickets. The young tweaker, Todd Murphy was also quite good although he didn't have any wickets to his name. Sean Abbott, picked up a couple in the  end, but he was slightly expensive.
19.5 H Kerr to L Hatcher
W IN THE AIR AND GONE! Sydney Sixers get the win! A short delivery angled across from the leg stump. Hatcher gets underneath and swings across. Plays in the air and finds Jordan Silk at deep midwicket taking a simple catch.
19.4 H Kerr to L Hatcher
4 FOUR RUNS! A boundary to light up but too late. Misses the yorker by an inch, pitched on the leg stump. Hatcher swings hard and connects. Plays it down the ground to the left of Smith at long on for four.
19.3 H Kerr to L Hatcher
2 Yorker on the middle stump, digs it out wide of long on. Pushes for a couple and gets it. Bad throw from Smith at the bowling end, a better one would have resulted in a wicket.

And with that wicket, the SIXERS are all set to win this game. The Thunder need  an improbable 26 runs from the final four balls of the innings.
19.2 H Kerr to L Hatcher
W GONE! Run out at the non striker's end! 127 kph. Good change in pace hitting the length on the leg stump line. Hatcher swings across but is beaten by the pace, gets hit on the thigh pad. Gray is looking for a single and reaches halfway down the pitch. Kerr collects the ball in his follow through and hits the stumps at the bowling end with Gray nowhere in the frame.
19.1 H Kerr to L Hatcher
6 SIX RUNS!! Hatcher with some clean hitting! Over the wicket. 112 kph, fuller delivery on the leg stump. Clears the front leg and smashes off the middle of the bat to clear the deep midwicket fence.
