That marks the end of our coverage as well. We hope you enjoyed our live coverage. Thank you for staying with us throughout the game. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Samanvaya Sharma, and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!
PLAYER OF THE MATCH - Josh Inglis: "In both the innings there were two big partnerships, but it was really difficult for the new batters to come and score some runs. Yeah, there was a huge collapse later in our innings but I just managed to stay out in the middle and score some crucial runs for my side. The spirit of our side is truly amazing and that is what we have witnessed tonight, whether it be with the ball and bowl, we always play as a team. We have some experienced guys in our side who know their roles well and that's what is important in such sort of games."
7:21 PM IST, 9:51 PM Local Time: A solid comeback by Perth Scorchers bowlers at the cue end of the match as they turned the tide of the match and helped Perth Scorchers extend their winning streak to six matches over Melbourne Renegades. Perth Scorchers secure a victory by 13 runs, leaving the Renegades still in search of their first win in the tournament.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Perth Scorchers got off to a shaky start as they lost both their openers inside the powerplay and were reeling at 4/2 in the second over of the innings. Aaron Hardie and Josh Inglis started the rescue mission for the Scorchers, and the duo wreaked havoc with the bat, scoring at a rapid pace and keeping the scoreboard ticking.

The Hardie- Inglis duo added 120 runs for the third wicket, putting the batting back on track. However, Hardie and Inglis departed for 57 and 64 runs, respectively, and following the wicket of the duo, the Scorchers faced a massive collapse, started falling like nine pins, and eventually got skittled for 162 runs in 19.4 overs.

Tom Rogers, Will Sutherland shared three wickets for the Renegades, while Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Adam Zampa, and Kane Richardson contributed one wicket to Scorchers’ downfall.

In pursuit of 162 runs,  Renegades struggled to score runs in the first couple of overs, but Quinton de Kock found his rhythm and entertained everyone with his classic shots, but his firework didn’t last for long as Lance Morris trapped QdK for 23 runs off 18 balls. He was soon followed by Jake Fraser-McGurk, who got run out in an unfortunate way for just 2 runs.

Shaun Marsh and Joe Clarke started the rescue mission, the former scored at a brisk pace from the word go, while the latter struggled to time the ball initially and found his rhythm as the game progressed. The duo added 70+ runs for the third wicket, with Clarke departing for 32 runs off 33 balls.

Marsh continued his merry ways and notched up his half-century but failed to seal the match for his side, departing for 59 runs at the crucial juncture of the match. Following the wicket of Marsh, Renegades lost a flurry of wickets in a jiffy and eventually, were restricted to 149/8 in 20 overs, falling 13 runs short of the target.

Lance Morris and Andrew Tye bagged a couple of wickets for the Scorchers, while Jason Behrendorff and Jhye Richardson celebrated a solitary wicket.

Adam Zampa walks out to bat next and he will face the hat-trick ball.
Back to back wickets for AJ Tye and he is on a hat-trick now.
19.3 A Tye to K Richardson
W WICKET AGAIN!!! Andrew Tye is making things difficult for the visitors here. Back of a length delivery nipping into the stumps. Richardson makes room and looks to thump it over cover but gets the top edge of the bat on it. The ball balloons up in the air and Tye in his follow-through settles underneath the ball and takes it safely.
