It's good to be in the playoffs, still, we will be looking for the spaces where we need to work more.

4:56 pm IST ||: In a low-scoring run chase Kolhapur Tuskers managed to get their third victory in their trot by 8 wickets. Fourth consecutive loss for Chatrapati Sambhaji Kings as they end their season with the loss, a lot to look upon especially batting.
Started with impressive bowling Kolhapur Tuskers were right on the money as they took two big wickets in the powerplay. Shreyash Chavan was the key bowler for Tuskers in the middle overs who took 4 wicket haul conceding only 20 runs in his 4-over spell. Akshay Drekar and Siddharth Mhatre also took 2-2 wickets each in the end overs. For Sambhaji Kings the batting was below average as only two players crossed the 20 runs mark. Murtuza Trunkwala was looking good initially but threw his wicket in an attempt to score runs.
The run chase looked quite easy for Kolhapur as they won the match in the 14th over only. The big batting lineup of Kolhapur Tuskers made it look very easy even after losing the wicket of Kedar Jadhav initially, Ankit Bawne yet again played a handy knock of 37 runs whereas Naushad Sheikh completed the run chase scoring 28 runs.
With this win, Kolhapur Tuskers became the third team to go straight into the playoffs of MPL 2023, and CSK will be eyeing another season for their first victory in MPL.
