A brilliant display from India, first with the ball and then with the bat. While Kuldeep Yadav did it with the ball in hand, Suryakumar Yadav showed his class with the bat alongside Tilak Varma showing maturity in the early stages of his international career. India go 1-2 to the USA and the fourth match will be played in Florida on the 12th of August.

For now, it's me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Arijit Kundu and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya, bringing you all the live-action of this final T20I of the series played at the Caribbean Islands. We will be back with more games. Until then, its cheers!
Hardik Pandya (India Captain): "Obviously it was very important within the group as well. I said that it was a very important game that had to be enjoyed. At the end of the day, we have the long-term plan that we have in our minds. And at the same time, it is also our goal to show that we have the plan to do the job here at this point in time.

Nicky [Pooran] has not come so I thought we can use the spinners more and later I can use my fast bowlers well. Axar did not get more overs in the last game, could bowl only two overs. He was brilliant today, bowling from one end. It gave me the chance to rotate Kuldeep and Yuzi [Chahal].

[On the idea against Pooran] Yeah, if Nicky wants to hit, let him hit me, that was the plan. I enjoy that kinda competition where I know I cannot err the line or length a lot. As it gives the advantage to Nicky. In the fourth game, I hope he comes very hard at me and gives me a wicket as well.

Within the group [on not batting deep] it is important that we bat with the seven batters and we need to take responsibility. We know we don't have someone at the down. I always believe that bowlers win you games. As it happened today, if the batters score runs, you don't need anyone down below. The next game starts at 12th and we can't wait for the excitement.

Surya and Tilak play together and understand the game well. I love to have Surya in my time. He loves the challenge and I like to have someone like him. With the strike rate he bats, it gives the other batters a chance to learn what he is doing and that also shows his character."
Rovman Powell (West Indies Captain): "I think we were 10-15 runs short. In the end, it looked like a pretty good wicket for batting. The start we got was exactly what we have asked for. But we lost our way a bit in the middle overs.

(On asking whether Pooran could have been promoted to number 3) It always happens in the heat of the moment, and we wanted to give one more chance for Johnson Charles. Yeah, Nicholas Pooran had been hitting well and was going well at number four.

I think we bowled a bit more pace on deliveries and that made it very easy for the Indian batters. We have a few days gap before the fourth game, and we will try to come up with a better plan, and hopefully, we can come back strongly."
Suryakumar Yadav (Player of the Match): "I think it was really important to be myself when I went to bat. That is what the team management wanted from me at that point in time. I think I practiced these strokes a lot when I used to bat back at my home.

I think we have batted together for a long time now. We understand how we bat [with Tilak Varma] together. It was his day to bat with more maturity. The way you are batting it is giving me the opportunity to express myself. It was a great thing to bat alongside him.

It was running at the back of the [that India were 2-0 behind in the series] mind. It is a human tendency. We had a team meeting yesterday. Captain said that it was very important to put the hands up and put up a show."

Player of the Match: Suryakumar Yadav

This is Suryakumar Yadav's 12th Player of the Match award in 51 T20Is. He is just behind Virat Kohli [15] in this tally. Currently, he has equaled Rohit Sharma in this list. Since Sky's debut in T20Is, no other cricketer in the world has won as many Player of the Match awards as he has won.
11:25 PM IST, 13:55 PM Local Time: Time for the presentation ceremony...

11:16 PM IST, 13:46 Local Time: Hardik Pandya finishes it the MS Dhoni way and India get one back at West Indies. The caravan will move onto the north with the series alive and the final two T20Is to be played in Florida in the United States of America (USA)!

West Indian captain Rovman Powell got the toss in his favour and opted to bat first, thinking the pitch would get slower and slower as the match progressed. The Windies openers Brandon King and Kyle Mayers provided a good start for the side, adding 55 runs in just 7.3 overs.

Axar Patel (4-0-24-1), who didn’t bowl a single ball in the second T20I, bowled all four overs inside the drinks break and also got the first breakthrough for India as he dismissed Mayers (25 off 20) in the 8th over. The visitors went with spinners since the second over and kept the scoring rate in check after the Powerplay.

Johnson Charles (12 off 14) struggled during his stay at the crease and was playing and missing plenty of slog sweeps before missing one on his pads dead in front of the stumps. Nicholas Pooran came in at his usual number 4 position and looked threatening yet again, getting a flying start to his innings. But the comeback man Kuldeep Yadav changed the tide with the wickets of Nicky P (20 off 12) and well-set King (42 off 42) in the 15th over and eventually finished his day with figures of 4-0-28-3.

Skipper Powell batted brilliantly and took the responsibility to finish the innings and scored an excellent knock of 40* from just 19 balls, helping West Indies to post the highest first-innings total in the series so far. Shimron Hetmyer (9 off 8), the local lad, failed again and was taken care of by Mukesh Kumar, who bowled his first over in the 18th over. Arshdeep Singh was expensive, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya went wicketless.

Chasing 160 to win, India again didn’t get off to a great start as they lost both of their openers inside the fifth over. Debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had a dream start to his international career, didn’t have the same in T20Is as he lost his shape in the first over-delivered by Obed McCoy. Shubman Gill looked out of touch yet again in the series and was dismissed by Alzarri Joseph. Before getting out, Gill saw a vibrant Suryakumar Yadav for a while, and the latter continued his show on and on.

SKY and Tilak Varma added 87 runs for the third wicket and took the game away from the hosts. Surya smashed 10 fours and 4 sixes in his knock of 83 off 44 balls and was on fire with the series on the line. He carved each and every stroke and was a thorn in the way of West Indies. The two MI batters looked a class apart and it was very evident with their attacking and positive approach, with the rain falling at a slow pace for the majority of the run chase. Joseph (4-0-25-2) broke this stand, denying Surya a well-deserved hundred.

Hardik came ahead of Sanju Samson, who looked a bit shaky during his wicket-keeping duties despite making an important stumping of dangerous Pooran and playing in an ultra-cautious state. Tilak was left stranded at 49 off 37 balls when Pandya (20 off 15) decided to take the aerial route banging a finishing punch at Powell and West Indies. This duo added an unbeaten 43 runs for the fourth wicket and wrapped up the West Indies leg of the tour with a seven-wicket win inside the 18th over.
17.5 R Powell to H Pandya
6 SIXXXX!! Hardik Pandya with the winning blow and smacked it to his counterpart in the Windies contingent- Rovman Powell. Full and slow at the off stump line. Hardik waited for it and slogged it down the ground over the ropes for a biggie. Well, Varma was on 49* on the other end, but Hardik is a team man and desired to finish the job early. India keeps their hopes alive and denies a series victory to Windies today. It's not over as a couple of games are still on the cards and we shall see some more excitement in those.
17.4 R Powell to T Varma
1 Pitched up and wide outside the off stump. Varma drives and gets the inside edge towards short fine leg region for a single.
17.3 R Powell to H Pandya
