That's all from the coverage of this game as we come to the end of the Super 6 stage of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023. We will be back on Sunday for the final between Sri Lanka and Netherlands from Harare. Do join us for that game and for all other cricketing actions across the globe, stick around to our network.

I am Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of AkshayaKrishna Polya, and Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
All the Sri Lanka players celebrate the moment of qualifying for the ICC World Cup 2023. They have a final to play for before they fly out of Zimbabwe. It will be Sri Lanka and Netherlands for the trophy of this tournament and will be played on Sunday at Harare Sports Club.
Dasun Shanaka (Sri Lanka Captain): "See, today it's the first time we played in Harare. The fast bowlers had to hit the right lines and lengths. This is a flat wicket and we kept it tight and gave nothing away. He has been consistent and will hope to carry on this good work in the future matches. We need to take catches and if we would have taken those catches, we would have been chasing 50-60 less. I tell everyone to stay calm. Yes, looking forward to the finals. We are looking forward to it as the final gives us an opportunity to do well. The boys are excited and we are looking forward to it."
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Ahh... To be honest, we didn't have enough runs on the board. Batting first we had to put runs on the board but we didn't. Credits to their bowlers for bowling well. Bowling first there is that extra help in it for the bowlers.

Keacy Carty played well. I am happy that he got some runs under his belt. Much needed to lift his confidence. He is a quality player and glad that he got some runs. He is capable of scoring big runs.

Catches let us down. With 244 runs on the board, we had to give our best defending. Our bowlers did a great job though. We can only improve from here. Communication is important and we will definitely get better from here on."
Maheesh Theekshana: "I think we had a debutant and Dushan Hemantha had played only one game. So I had to take the responsibility of being the leader of the pack. Dilshan Madushanka bowled well with the new ball. I love bowling in the Powerplay with the new ball. It skids on and helps me getting it through. With the old ball, it doesn't really skids as the wickets here are flat. So I was happy with the new ball. Kept them in the correct spots and reaped the rewards. Wasn't actually nervous (searching for the five-wicket haul). It was just that the old ball with which doesn't get enough support from the pitch. I was keen on the fifth wicket, but didn't manage to get it."
Player of the Match: Maheesh Theekshana
7:42 PM IST, 4:12 PM Local Time: A professional performance from Sri Lanka as they have outplayed the West Indies by 8 wickets with 5.4 overs to spare. They have outplayed their opponents in all facets of the game and remain unbeaten in the World Cup Qualifiers 2023.

Chasing a very gettable target of 244 for the win, it was all about the opening partnership between Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne as the duo put on 190 runs for the first wicket. That really killed the contest. Nissanka got to his 3rd ODI hundred and back-to-back hundreds in this tournament. He scored 104 off 113 balls. Dimuth Karunaratne supported him as he scored 83 off 92 balls. Both fell towards the end. In the end, Kusal Mendis got some batting practice and scored an unbeaten 34* off 43 balls while Sadeera Samarawickrama was unbeaten on 17* off 18 balls. 6 extras were given by the fielding side as Sri Lanka romped home to the win.

The West Indies bowlers were under strength and could only get two wickets in the end. A wicket apiece in the end for Kevin Sinclair and Akeal Hosein. Both tried along with the others, but this was a low total to defend.

Earlier in the game, West Indies were put into bat by Sri Lanka and they never got going to be honest. Brandon King went for 10 while Johnson Charles scored 39 off 38 balls. Nicholas Pooran scored 14 while Kyle Mayers scored 18. But it was Keacy Karty who stood tall with his 87 off 96 balls. He was dropped earlier in the day and made Sri Lanka pay. Romario Shepherd chipped in with 26 off 21 balls while Kevin Sinclair chipped in with 25 off 36 balls. 13 extras were given by the fielding side. The West Indies recovered to get to 243, but it was under par.

It was an excellent bowling performance from Sri Lanka with the ball. Maheesh Theekshana was the star with figures of 4/34 in 10 overs. Hemantha picked up a couple of wickets for 49 runs in 10 overs. A wicket apiece for Dilshan Madushanka,  Matheesha Pathirana, Dasun Shanaka, and Arachchige. A great bowling performance from the Lankan Lions. They were disciplined with the ball but were sloppy on the field and would want to work and improve on that going forward.

So, a comprehensive 8-wicket win for Sri Lanka over the West Indies as they remain unbeaten in the tournament. Stick around for the presentations.
44.2 R Shepherd to K Mendis
1 Mendis gets the winning runs. Hard length delivery outside off. Mendis plays late and opens the bat's face running it down to deep third man for a single. Sri Lanka win by 8 wickets! Another defeat for Daren Sammy and Shai Hope as West Indies finish with just a win in the Super Six stage of the tournament. Sri Lanka will move ahead playing the final of this competition on Sunday against Netherlands.
44.1 R Shepherd to K Mendis
2 Romario Shepherd is back into the attack. Over the wicket. Back of a length outside off. Mendis on the back foot punches it towards the right of the fielder at sweeper cover for a couple of runs. The scores are level.
