18:50 IST and 15:20 Local time | So this marks the end of our live ball-by-ball coverage of the World Cup Qualifier match between Ireland and U.S.A. This is me Saptak Sanyal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saipaavan Janaki and our scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur.

Hope you have enjoyed our coverage. Good bye and keep CREXing....
Andrew Balbirnie (Ireland Captain): "Yeah, also we had a really disappointed to out of the tournament, this is cricket and will back stronger. I think a four-year cycle is important to maintain all consistency. We have good players, sometimes lose and win. 50 overs World Cup and important to do well and very talented players in our side. I think it was an ability to do things.  Really good to see Young come in and we want on our team. This win will boost our confidence."
Monank Patel (USA Captain)- "I think it is not easy to come and deliver with two batters short. I think we started today well but after Sushant and Saiteja's dismissal we had a collapse. This is the first time we came to play the tournament and we will be having another game. We will try to play our best to win that game. The wicket became flatter in the second innings, otherwise our bowlers did a good job"
Craig Young (Player of the Match): "Yeah, pretty frustrated wicket and will perform well and win the game. It has been very good to come back to the team after many days. Hope will go forward and thanks very much."
18:33 IST and 15:03 local time | In a thrilling World Cup qualifier match between Ireland and the USA, Ireland emerged victorious with a comfortable six-wicket win. The match showcased some brilliant performances from both sides, but it was Ireland's strong batting lineup that ultimately sealed their victory.

Winning the toss, the USA elected to bat first but struggled to put up a formidable total on the board. They were bundled out for 197 runs, thanks to some excellent bowling from the Irish bowlers. Craig Young was the pick of the bowlers, taking three crucial wickets, while Mark Adair, Andy McBrine, and Barry McCarthy chipped in with two wickets each. Their combined efforts restricted the USA's scoring opportunities and prevented them from building a substantial total.

Sushant Modani and Saiteja Mukkamalla were the standout performers for the USA with identical scores of 55 runs. Their partnership provided some stability in the middle order, but they lacked significant contributions from the rest of the team. However, Usman Rafiq's knock of 28 runs towards the end of the innings helped the USA reach a respectable total.

In response, Ireland began their chase with a strong intent to dominate the game. Paul Stirling, with his aggressive batting, set the momentum for Ireland. He played a brilliant innings, scoring a quick-fire 58 runs off just 45 balls, including nine boundaries and two sixes. Stirling's innings provided a solid foundation for Ireland's pursuit of the target.
Andy McBrine, who had earlier contributed with the ball, continued his good form with the bat. He played a crucial role, scoring 35 runs, and built a valuable partnership with Stirling. The duo kept the scoreboard ticking and maintained control over the match. Harry Tector contributed a vital 25 runs to the chase, further consolidating Ireland's position.

However, it was the captain, Andrew Balbirnie, who made the most significant impact on the match. Playing his 100th ODI, Balbirnie showcased his experience and led from the front. He scored a crucial 45 runs, ensuring that Ireland remained in control throughout the chase.
In the end, Ireland comfortably reached the target with 94 balls and six wickets remaining, showcasing their dominance in the match.

Nosthush Kenjige was the most successful bowler for the USA, taking two wickets, but it wasn't enough to stop Ireland's determined batting lineup.
Overall, it was an exciting match that witnessed some brilliant performances from both teams. Ireland's solid batting display, combined with disciplined bowling, proved to be the decisive factor in their victory.

With this win, Ireland has regained their confidence, while the USA will have to regroup and come back stronger in their next encounter.
