18:19 PM IST and Local time:- So this is a wrap from our end from the first ODI of Sri Lanka women and New Zealand women. This is me Saptak Sanyal, signing off along with my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar.

Hope you have enjoyed our coverage. Stay tuned for the live coverages of more matches around the globe. Good bye.
Chamari Athapaththu (Player of the match): "I am feeling good and also I am very happy about my performance and the team's performance. Vishmi was very good and our bowling department did their best. We planned to score runs in the powerplay and after the powerplay we tried to play the doubles and singles. This was a very good win for Sri Lanka cricket. We have to stick with the plans for the next game."

17:44 PM IST | Saptak:- In the encounter between the New Zealand women's cricket team and the Sri Lanka women's cricket team, Sri Lanka Women's team emerged victorious for the first time in the One Day International (ODI) format. It was an enthralling match that showcased some outstanding performances from both sides. New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first.
