Hashmatullah Shahidi now goes across and collects the trophy from Mr Jalaj Younus Khan. Now, he will take the trophy to his team mates for the celebrations. They deserve this win as they win the series 2-1. It was not their day today, but they win the series in the end.

They have outplayed their opponents in all facets of the game tonight and notch up a consolation win in this 3-match series. Afghanistan wins this series 2-1 but it is Bangladesh's night to celebrate.
Chasing a gettable 127 for the win. Bangladesh lost Mohammad Naim early. Najmul Hossain Shanto made only 11 runs. But it was skipper Litton Das who held the innings together for his 53* off 60 balls. Shakib Al Hasan chipped in with 39 off 39 balls. Towhid Hridoy remained unbeaten on 22* off 19 balls and hit the winning runs as Bangladesh get to the target in 23.3 overs winning by 7 wickets.
Afghanistan had a very low score to defend and tried their hearts out. Fazalhaq Farooqi was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/26 in 5 overs. The other wicket fell to Mohammad Nabi. The others tried their best but returned home wicketless. It was too low a score to defend.

Short again and outside off, Hridoy waits on the backfoot again and cuts that firmly to the right of the backward point region as the ball races away for a boundary.
