So, that's it from our coverage of this game and this series between Australia Women and West Indies Women. Thank you for being with us. There is a lot of cricketing actions coming your way today. So, stick around to our network for all the action that we will have for you soon. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Alyssa Healy receives the trophy 🏆 and now the whole team joins her on the stage for the photograph.
Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain): "Yes, it was a good result for us today. Lots of positives to take it through the whole and rest of summer. I think the depth in our squad is important. We have two big series multination one sin India and one at home. Good to see everyone contributing and this WBBL will help them get better at their skills. Enjoying the last couple of weeks. We will work on the T20 skills and how to go about it. We will sharpen our skills and some world class players in all sides. So, it will be a good test and learning curve for all of us. Happy with the series win in the end."
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain): "Yeah, I think coming down here, we knew it was definitely going to be a series that we wanted to learn from and I think the major thing from us is probably reflecting on it. I think we've done that over the last two days and over the last couple of ODIs. I want the girls can really go back and learn from what we didn't do so well. I think there are still a lot of positives that we can take out of this series.

[Speaking about the one who impressed the most in this series] Yeah, I think someone like Shamilia Connell has obviously taken up a really new role in this series. We would have seen her with the new ball a lot recently for West Indies, but coming in here using a lot of change-ups, bowling in the middle overs, and even players like young Zaida James, getting an opportunity to bowl obviously against the best team in the world is something huge for these girls.  I keep saying, once they can learn from these opportunities I think as the T 20 series went home, we kind of saw our bowling taking straightforward, which is a huge positive.

[About her injury] Yeah, I just had a small grade-one tear, but all good now."

Kim Garth (Player of the Match and Series): "Obviously, sitting on the side lines, worked on my game. Gave my best and bowled right lines and lengths and did my best. I executed my plans well and got rid of Hayley today. Yes, we do post match reviews and get better at it. Throughout the series, we bowled well as a group. Partnership bowling is key and we saw that through the series and nice to see coming through it. Happy with the win and the series win as well."
Player of the Match and Series: Kim Garth.
Megan Schutt: "Yeah, definitely. I feel like 50 over is our main format and one we feel confident in and we kind of wanted to come out, make a statement and I feel like we've done that.

I guess partnering with Kimmy has been a great balance for us. Obviously, I'm pretty used to that, but I feel like she slotted in pretty nicely, and I feel like we've just been a bit more cohesive in this format, and I guess patience more our game. And getting Haley out early has helped as well.

Trying to stay patient is not always my strength, but luckily I have Tahlia McGrathat mid-off trying to tell me to stay patient and, yeah, luckily for her, I managed to do that sometimes."

Biggest ODI win for Australia women in terms of balls remaining in the 50-over era:

216 v IRE, 2005 (target 67)
211 v WI, 2023 (target 84)

206 v SL, 2016 (target 77)
8:35 AM IST, 2:05 PM Local Time: So, another convincing win for Australia Women as they thrash the West Indies Women by 8 wickets with plenty to spare. The bowlers did the job earlier on and then the batters came and breezed away to complete the formalities. A win that will boost Australia while West Indies were flat to say the least today. Nothing went their way.

Chasing a paltry 104 for the win, Australia Women got off to a breezy start courtesy of their openers Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield. The skipper Healy scored 32 off 27 balls. Litchfield scored 27 off 29 balls. Both batters were dismissed. Ellyse Perry finished things off in style as she remained unbeaten on 29* off 21 balls. Beth Mooney was with her on 11* off 17 balls. 7 extras were given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in 15.3 overs.

Nothing much to defend for the West Indies bowlers today once again. They tried whatever they could. A wicket for Shamilia Connell and Aaliyah Alleyne. The rest of the bowlers remained wicketless.

Earlier in the game, West Indies Women were put into bat first by Australia Women under overcast conditions. But they lost wickets at regular intervals while some of the umpiring decisions went against them from the TV umpire. Hayley Matthews scored 23 while keeper batter Rashada Williams hung in there to score 25 off 71 balls. The rest of the batting fell away. Fraser played well for her 19 off 34 balls but the rest did not turn up. 9 extras were given by the fielding side as West Indies were bowled out for 103 in 31.4 overs.

All the Australian bowlers bowled well. Annabel Sutherland was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/23 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Kim Garth who was really impressive at the top. Alana King picked up a couple of wickets while Tahlia McGrath came in late and cleaned up the tail. A wicket for Georgia Wareham as well. All in all, a good performance from Australia Women and they will be very happy with this effort and series outcome.

So, a win by 8 wickets for Australia Women as they win the series 2-0 with one game abandoned. Stick around for the presentations.
