So that marks the end of our coverage from the third T20I of the ongoing series between West Indies and England. England has displayed a stellar batting performance and kept the series alive.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off alongside my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Arijit Kundu and our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, good night.
Jos Buttler (England Captain): " Yeah, great to keep the series alive. A fantastic win anytime you chase over 220 is a fantastic effort. So I think hats off to Phil Salt. That's a brilliant innings and to bat all the way through, to be not out at the end, something we spoke about after the last game, staying in the game, sort of being the guy to be there at the end. So full credit to him.

Yeah, I think we've tried a lot with the ball, a few guys bowling in different phases. I think the more sort of faster you can bowl into the wicket with the spinners looks like a real tough way for the batters and I think also for the seam bowlers, actually try and take pace off, but it's not actually too much pace off, still sort of three-quarter balls.

And I think also the execution in T20 is obviously against some big hitters on a small ground. If you're a little bit off, they get hold of you. But that's the nature of the game and it showed when we batted today as well.

He's got such great intent from ball one. That's something that we've asked him to do and he always plays that way. But for today to go on and be there at the end, it's something we spoke about after the last game, just staying in the game a bit longer, you surprise yourself how much you can do in the back end.

So I thought we held the momentum a lot better today. We didn't let the West Indies back in. They may have felt ahead there at the end, but Harry Brook as well came in and played as he did and finished the game off, it's a great effort."
Rovman Powell(West Indies Captain)- "It is disappointing to lose a game after posting 220. Honestly it was a great batting effort from us. If you look our performance throughout the series,  you can see that the guys are improving.

I think, Motie and Hosein were very good. It is high time for us to sit down with new plans after taking the flight tomorrow. I hope we will comeback stronger."
Philip Salt (Player of the Match): "Yeah, it feels like it's been a long time coming in the England shirt, you know, so it's special to do it now, especially, you know, with them being able to take the series today.

We've been talking as a group about someone standing up and being a match-winner and saying how much time you have. And we saw Shai's knock in Antigua and he stayed composed for so long and that was the difference. And we were talking about somebody on our side having that exact same mentality. We were trying to get it down to 60 or 70 off the last five and that's what we did, and Brookie came in and played a hell of a knock at the end.

So it's about playing my game, doing it my way. And more than anything, it's about the role of having the partnership with Jos, freeing him up to be able to play as he does, because obviously, he's one of the best in the world."

Time for the post-match presentation
02:28 IST and Local Time | Brilliant hitting from Phil Salt from the start and an impressive 7-ball innings from Harry Brook has given the English side a terrific victory over the Caribbean side.

After coming to bat first, West Indies openers started the innings by getting out cheaply. After Brandon King and Kyle Mayers got out cheaply, Nicholas Pooran and Shai Hope started taking on the bowlers. Hope got out scoring 26 but Pooran continued his carnage with Rovman Powell and Sherfane Rutherford batting well with him. Powell got out scoring 39 and Rutherford scored 29 before his departure. Nicholas Pooran scored 82 of 45 balls with 6 fours and an equal number of maximums. Jason Holder played a cameo of 18 runs to help his team score 223.

For England, Sam Curran took 2 wickets with Moeen Ali and Reece Topley taking one wicket each.

Coming to chase the run, the English openers, Phil Salt and Jonny Bairstow gave their side an explosive start. They scored 107 from the final 10 overs and Bairstow got out just after reaching his fifty and Will Jacks failed cheaply after that. Phil Salt was joined by the big-hitting Liam Livingstone then and together they made a partnership of 70 runs where Livingstone scored 30 with three maximums. Phil Salt got his first international T20 century and remained unbeaten on 109 off 56 balls. The Harry Brook cameo of 31 runs off just 7 balls ensured that England reach the target with a ball remaining.
That's the victory!!!!! Harry Brook you beauty!! A maximum and Salt from the other end comes to hug him and they are jumping in joy. What a moment for the English side.

6 SIX! SIX! SIX! No, no, no, you cannot do that! Brook, you beauty! Take a bow man! 🫡 A humdinger of a match and Brook seals the deal for England with a biggie to keep the series alive! Salute to Phil Salt, who wreaked havoc with the bat and played a scintillating knock of 109* runs!

Full-length delivery a shade outside off. Brook makes room to access the off-side and slices it over the third-man region for a maximum. England chased down 222 runs with 1 ball to spare, keeping the series alive. The cricket fanatics were in for a treat as 448 runs were scored in this match.
Two runs taken! 3 runs from the final 2 balls is the ask now.
19.4 A Russell to H Brook
2 Back of a length delivery outside off. Brook pulls it to deep mid-wicket and pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs.
HARRY CHERRINGTON BROOK!!!! What are you doing man! You master!!! 5 from 3 now! England are just one hit away from a remarkable victory. Change in balls now.
19.3 A Russell to H Brook
6 SIX MORE! Brook, you are a master! Oh dear, Russell what have you done? Full toss down the leg. It seems like Russell loses his grip on the ball and bowls a full-toss delivery. Brook bends low and puts his wrist power on display as he whips it over the deep backward square leg region for a biggie. 5 needed off 3 balls now.
Take SIX more!!! Brook has made the situation come down to 11 from the final 4 balls. Moeen Ali is clapping from the dug-out.
19.2 A Russell to H Brook
6 SIX! This is a stupendous shot from Brook! Full-length delivery just outside off. Brook makes room and lofts it over the deep extra cover for a biggie. An eye-pleasing shot from Brook and Russell is under pressure.
