Abhishek Tanwar (Salem Spartans Captain ):" Relaxed now, because we lost 4 games. Happy to win this close game, felt the win was just round the corner. (On Sunny Sandhu) He was batting very well, so we wanted to give him a chance up the order. Both the left-arm spinners bowled very well, if you bowl the wrong lengths you can easily get hit on this wicket. I felt like Sunny was having a very good game, so wanted to give him to last over to close out the game for us."
NS Chaturved ( IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Captain):" We didn't deserve to win. From 57/4 to let them get that score was poor. We had plans for each bowler, but our execution wasn't up to the mark. While batting, we didn't build enough partnerships. We lost wickets just as we were building momentum. We will plan better and try to execute those plans in the next game."
Sunny Sandhu( Player of the Match): " I tried to bat through the innings, playfully. I think 140-150 would have been a good target as I said earlier. In the final over, I just tried slower balls into the pitch."

6:35 PM IST ||: The Tamizhans won the toss and decided to bowl first in today's game between the Salem Spartans and the iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. After losing their first two wickets, the Spartans needed a partnership to keep their innings steady. At the crease, R Kavin and Sunny Sandhu accepted the challenge and displayed fortitude. For the third wicket, they put together a reliable partnership of 37 runs in just 32 balls, which gave the Spartans' innings some security. But when Kavin scored 19 runs off of 18 balls, his innings were over.
S Abishiek and Sandhu teamed together in an effort to capitalize on the previous partnerships' success. They increased the Spartans' total by 32 runs in the middle overs, which was a significant contribution. Particularly Sandhu, whose innings were steadily accelerated after starting slowly, was essential. After scoring an incredible 61 runs off 44 balls, including six fours and two sixes, he eventually left the field, reaching his maiden fifty in the TNPL.
S Abishiek and Sandhu teamed together in an effort to capitalize on the previous partnerships' success. Particularly Sandhu, whose innings were steadily accelerated after starting slowly, was essential. After scoring an incredible 61 runs off 44 balls, including six fours and two sixes, he eventually left the field, reaching his maiden fifty in the TNPL.
In the last overs, Abhishek Tanwar made a brief cameo appearance and scored 17 runs off just six balls, adding to Muhammed Adnan Khan's valuable 15-run contribution. The Spartans, however, were unable to generate a challenging score because they found it difficult to form lasting partnerships and frequently lost wickets. In their allotted 20 overs, they were ultimately bowled out for 155 runs.
P Bhuvaneswaran, took three wickets while giving up 48 runs in four overs, was the star performer for the Tamizhans' bowling unit. Additionally making major contributions, H Trilok Nag and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore each took two wickets.
The chase started well by the iDream batters but somehow they fall short of completing the chase. It was the 17th over of Kumaran where iDream lost 3 of his middle-over batters. The powerplay overs were very good for iDream as they lost only one wicket and put up a respectable total on the board. The falling of wickets at the regular interval of the match became the major cause of the loss for iDream.
Sachin Rathi was the star bowler for the Spartans as he took 3 important wickets in the match with the game-changing over of Kumaran. Hariharan and Sinivas also took a one-one wicket each. For iDream, the show stealer in batting was Sai Kishore who hit some big shots and scored 26 runs in just 10 deliveries. However after he got out, the whole team fumbled down as a result iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans lost the match by 8 runs.
