That brings us to the end of the coverage of the match between the Dindigul Dragons and Ba11sy Trichy. It was Dindigul Dragons' day today as they sneaked away with a victory.

Do join us for all the upcoming games from all around the globe. For now, it's me Hitesh Peddurwar signing off along with my co-commentator Prince Suman and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya .....Until then stay safe...
Ravichandran Ashwin(Dindigul Dragons Skipper): "We have a good team of youngsters and also senior players like me Varun and Baba. The 120 was too less a target, it was an easy one we just had to build a good partnership. I would have batted but I had a bit of jet lag. See, on the big screen it looked like there was no conclusive evidence so I took the review again just in the hope that from different angles we might get something"
Ganga Sridhar Raju(Ba11sy Trichy Skipper): " I am very disappointed with the loss, we lost many wickets in the powerplay and lost the momentum. Yeah, Rajkumar and I did the fight back but I got out at the wrong time. We have one of the best bowling attack but 120 is too less and I think we were short by 20 runs"
Varun Chakaravarthy (Player of the Match): While bowling, I just pay attention to the procedure. I needed to go farther. For the hat trick, we had a strategy, but it didn't work out. Ashwin's wickets were really important. I hope to be available.
Player of the match is Varun Chakravarthy.
Catch of the match Jafar Jamal...
Turbo performer of the Match Varun Chakravarthy...
Chill player of the match award goes to Subodh Bhati..
Most Sixes Hit in the match R Rajkumar...
Most Fours Hit in the match Shivam Singh..
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony!!!!
Shivam Singh: Being on the winning team is satisfying. The lads seem upbeat. It was incredible to play on the winning team in the first game. Everyone's roles were established. Ashwin has created a relaxed atmosphere by being very composed. Each of us is having fun. A class bowler, Nattu Bhai's ball was swinging in both directions. I was aware that it would be simpler for me if I could persuade him. One of the top bowling lineups in the competition is ours. The ability to bowl well is a blessing.
22:21 IST| That's it..... Dindigul Dragons 🐉 dominated all throughout the game and sneaked away with the victory easily. They chased down the total in just 14.5 overs.

Earlier in the game, Ba11sy Trichy won the toss and elected to bat first. This decision backfired them as they were off to an awful start. They lost 4 wickets and scored just 28 runs in the powerplay. The wickets were tumbling down for the Trichy and they were in all sorts of trouble.

Credit goes to the duo of Ganga Sridhar Raju and R Rajkumar, this pair took their time to settle in the middle and unleashed their beast mode at the right time. They glued a partnership of 65 runs for the 7th wicket.

Ganga Sridhar Raju was the top scorer for his team as he scored 48 runs off 41 balls, Rajkumar departed after scoring 39 runs. Magnificent bowling by the Dindigul Dragons helped them to restrict the Ba11sy Trichy to a below-par score of 120 runs.

The mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy was the pick of the bowlers for the Dragons as he scalped 3 wickets and gave away just 21 runs in his 4-over spell. Skipper Ravichandran Ashwin, P Saravana Kumar, and Subodh Bhati scalped a couple of wickets.

While chasing a paltry total of 121 runs. Dindigul Dragons lost an early wicket but that didn't dent their scoring rate. Shivam Singh came with all guns blazing and was accompanied by Baba Indrajith in the middle. The Dragons scored 61 runs in the powerplay and dominated the first six overs. Singh walked back after playing a handy knock of 46 runs from 30 balls.

Adithya Ganesh joined Baba Indrajith in the middle. This duo showed their calmness in the middle and kept knocking the ball into the gaps. Ba11sy Trichy never looked in a position to win the encounter as the runs were coming off for the Dragons easily.

Trichy scalped the wickets in the later half of the game but it was too late for it as the game already drifted away from their hands. Adithya Ganesh and Subodh Bhati played short cameos of 20* and 19* runs respectively and took their team over the line.

T Natarajan, Ragupathy Silambarasan, Ramadoss Alexander, and Antony Dhas scalped wicket apiece for Ba11sy Trichy...

Dindigul Dragons won this encounter easily and have started their TNPL campaign with a victory.
