That’s a wrap from our side as well. I hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, this is Saipavan Janaki signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal, and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. CHEERS!
Kieron Pollard(Trinbago Knight Riders Captain)- "I think it is a team effort. We believed that we can command in the second half and that is what we did.

The pitch was the reason for so many dot balls. I am not going into dot balls as it was a very slow wicket and we were able to master 140 and that was enough.

We wanted to use our spinners well to exploit the moist conditions. Waqar and Akeil bowled brilliant with Narine. Hats off to Ali Khan. Dwayne Bravo shared his knowledge and motivated the youngsters and it paid off.

I want to thank our fans for the support we got and hopefully we will get that support in the later stages."
Brandon King (Jamaica Tallawahs Captain): "The bowlers did excellent today, as 142 runs were extremely well. Yeah definitely a brilliant debut for him and he really gave us wickets under pressure. To be honest, no it's defending enough on this wicket as we know all parts of the game. Yeah, it's been a problem for the last few games and we will come out in the next game."

Time for the presentation ceremony.
11.10 PM IST, 01.40 PM Local Time | Saipavan Janaki:  That's it....What a nail biting game this was....Trinbago Knight Riders showed great nerve and held on to win the game by a narrow margin of 2 runs. Although they struggled with their batting, their strong defense of the total paid off as they defeated Jamaica Tallawahs.

Earlier, Jamaica Tallawahs won the toss and invited Trinbago Knight Riders to bat first. Trinbago Knight Riders got off to a decent start, scoring 49 runs without losing any wickets in the first 6 overs. However, Mark Deyal was the more aggressive of the two openers, while Martin Guptill struggled to find his form. Deyal scored 30 runs off 23 balls before the debutant Kelvin Pitman sent him back. Pitman made an impressive T20 debut by taking three wickets, including the crucial dismissal of Nicholas Pooran, in his first over.

Martin Guptill managed a struggling 25-ball 15 before falling to Imad Wasim. Captain Kieron Pollard and Lorcan Tucker then formed a half-century partnership, with Tucker contributing 30 off 27. However, Pitman struck again, removing Pollard for 33. TKR's lower order, including Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Kadeem Alleyne, struggled to score runs, and they finished at 142-8. Jamaica Tallawahs' bowlers, led by Pitman's debut heroics and Mohammed Amir's three wickets. , Imad Wasim and Salman Irshad picked a wicket each.

In their chase of 143 runs, Jamaica Tallawahs made a promising start with openers Brandon King and Alex Hales putting up a 57-run partnership for the first wicket. However, they faced a setback when King departed after scoring 36 off 25 balls in the 8th over. The middle phase saw a minor collapse as they lost three more wickets, reducing them to 65/4 after 10 overs. The Trinbago Knight Riders bowlers performed exceptionally well during this period.

Imad Wasim and Raymon Reifer contributed 15 runs for the fifth wicket, but Reifer was dismissed for 17 runs. Fabian Allen added 8 runs at a run-a-ball pace. Chris Green joined Wasim, and they fought hard, but Green's departure for 32 runs in 16 balls, featuring 3 sixes, was a turning point. Wasim remained unbeaten with 19 runs off 24 balls as Jamaica Tallawahs finished their innings at 140/7 in 20 overs.

From the Trinbago Knight Riders' bowling side, Andre Russell was the standout performer, conceding 34 runs in four overs and taking 3 wickets. Sunil Narine and Waqar Salamkheil also contributed with a couple of wickets each. The Knight Riders held their nerves and secured a thrilling 2-run victory in the end.

Stick around for the post-match presentation…

19.6 A Khan to I Wasim
1lb That's it!!!! TKR snatched the thriller, Ali Khan did it for them!!! Imad Wasim shifted to his off stump and was in search of room to go down the ground. Khan cunningly bowled a full length ball, to his pads and he failed to time it with the bat as he tried to heave it over leg side. The ball rolled to leg side and Wasim ran a vague single leg bye. Ali Khan is pumped up, TKR seems to be overjoyed. Pollard pats Ali Khan and Andre Russell here! What a thriller! Just two runs separated the winner and the loser here!
Ohh, dear, Tallawahs require 4 runs off the last ball. Can 'Wasim' do for his team?
19.5 A Khan to I Wasim
4 Fourrrrr! Khan bowled a full ball, on the off-middle and Wasim shuffled across and heaved it towards cow corner. Russell from long on ran to his left, gave a desperate slide down the ground but was unable to stop it. All eyes on the final ball now, 4 needed!
8 runs needed off last 2 balls.
19.4 A Khan to I Wasim
0 Another dot ball and wow! Wasim was bowled on yorker length, to the leg stump line. Wasim got hit on his pad and umpire turned the appeal down as it seemed to be drifting outside leg. TKR reviewed. Fair delivery. No bat involved, pitching in line, impact in line and missing the leg stump. Not out.
19.3 A Khan to I Wasim
0 Another dot ball. Yorker, on middle close to the shoe. Wasim punched it to long on fielder and backed his abilities to hit big. Denied another single.
19.2 A Khan to I Wasim
0 Dot ball. Full, on off. Wasim punched it to mid off fielder and denied his non striker for a single.
19.1 A Khan to I Wasim
4 Fourrr to start the final over! Wasim punched the full ball, outside off through deep extra cover and the fielder ran hard to his left and the ball bisected Martin Guptill and Nicholas Pooran to cross the fence.
Tallawahs require 12 runs off last 6 balls.
