Milestone
That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Hope you enjoyed it. This is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Megh Mandaliya and scorer Zeeshan Naiyer. Tata. Bye bye.
Stafanie Taylor (Tornadoes Women Skipper): "Well, I am really pleased to finally win a game. It was tough for all the players and the way they bowled today, it was commendable. We were the sixth-placed team in the tournament so the drive in the players was there. It was nice to see the associate players finish on a high and they have improved from the last year. I hope they keep improving in the upcoming years."
Sana Mir (South Coast Sapphires Women Skipper): "It has been a tough tournament for us as a team. We tried to keep improving but we failed to step up as a batting unit. I made the decision to play in this tournament while I was at home. The opportunity that it brings is great. I really enjoyed my time here. We fought till the end and that's what our team is all about. Hopefully, we will come back stronger next time."
Chanida Sutthiruang (Player of the Match): "Yes, I feel so happy about this victory. It was a good team effort."

Time for the post-match presentation.
10:14 AM IST: That’s it. End of a magnificent bowling display from the Tornadoes Women as they knock over the South Coast Sapphires Women on 60 to win the game by 55 runs. The Tornadoes Women grab their first win of the competition and win this fifth-place playoff to finish fifth.

The Sapphires Women didn’t have the best of starts while chasing 116. They lost Gaby Lewis on one in the third over. Sibona Jimmy fell in the same over. Katie Mack was looking good at the crease but departed on 11 as the Sapphires Women were reeling at 28/3 at the end of the powerplay. The Tornadoes Women bowled beautifully in the middle overs and kept a lid on the scoring rate.

The required run rate was creeping up and the Sapphires Women started feeling the pressure. None of their batters got going as they kept losing wickets. Only two batters managed to get to double digits as they eventually got bundled out on 60 to lose the game by 55 runs. Chanida Sutthiruang, Sita Magar and Winifred Duraisingam picked up three wickets each for the Tornadoes Women as they completed a fantastic performance with the ball.

San Mir, Sapphires’ skipper won the toss and elected to bowl first. They had a good start as they didn’t allow the Tornadoes Women to get away. They bowled brilliantly up front and restricted the Tornadoes Women to 24/1 at the end of the powerplay. Sterre Kalis and Mary-Anne Musonda tried to build a partnership but the Sapphires Women kept picking wickets at regular intervals.

Tornadoes' skipper Stafanie Taylor came out and played aggressively but was dismissed by Shabnim Ismail on 24 in the 13th over. Ismail sent back Sune Luus on five as the Tornadoes Women failed to finish with a flourish. Aliya Riaz (19*) and Chanida Sutthiruang (12*) tried hard in the end but could only take their side to 115 at the end of their 20 overs. Ismail was the standout bowler for the Sapphires Women as she finished with figures of 2/8 in her four overs, which included a maiden.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.
Stumping Check. Dowse whips the bails in a flash and Ismail it outside the crease. OUT is displayed on the big screen and that's the end of the game.
14.2 W Duraisingam to S Ismail
W Has that been stumped? Back of a length delivery and in the middle stump line, Ismail takes a little step forward and looks to heave that across the line but the ball sneaks past the edge to the keeper. Dowse whips the bails in a flash and the replay shows Ismail is just short of her crease. That will do it for the Tornadoes then. They bag their first victory of the season and end their season on a high. The Stafanie Taylor-led side had defended 115 runs as South Coast Sapphires have been bundled out for 60.
14.1 W Duraisingam to S Ismail
0 Back of a length delivery in the middle and off, rising from the surface as well. Ismail weighs back and blocks that to backward point for a dot.
