That's a wrap from our side as well. What a thrilling game of cricket it has been! We witnessed not just one but two historic moments in the world of cricket today. South Africa pulled off a stunning victory by chasing down a mammoth total of 258 runs in T20Is, setting a new record for the highest-ever chased total in this format. And in another part of the world, Afghanistan created history by defeating Pakistan for the first time in a T20 series, making it a momentous occasion for Afghan cricket fans. It was truly a day full of excitement and entertainment for cricket fans all around the globe!

We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Megh Mandaliya and Scorers/Analysts Zeeshan Naiyer and Raju Khariya, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Rashid Khan (Afghanistan Captain): "It's a great honor to lead this wonderful side. Winning a series against Pakistan is a huge moment for us and a great effort from everyone.  So happy with the guys. 150 was a par total at this wicket but Afghanistan vs Pakistan is always a tight contest. So, 130 was also a good total. The way Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran played was fantastic. They took the game deep and Nabi and Najibullah finished it. It's really important to have players such as Nabi and Najibullah, who finish the games for us."
Shadab Khan (Pakistan Captain): "It was a good score. Again, we were having trouble. According to statistics, you lose 70% of games if you lose 3 wickets during a powerplay. I believe there is anxiety because this is their first time playing for Pakistan (the new batters). We must support them. Even when you don't perform well, attitude counts. For me, that is more significant. They have talent. They will be great cricketers. We will play for pride tomorrow."
Fazalhaq Farooqi (Player of the match): "I would like to congratulate everyone in Afghanistan for this victory. A special moment for us. Pakistan is a very strong team and a top-ranked team. I tried to swing the new ball and went for wickets with an attacking approach. Proud moment for us and it's always good to win a series."
Time for the presentation ceremony...
12:58 AM IST | Deepak: Phew, what a game of cricket we witnessed today. Afghanistan scripted a historic victory over Pakistan in the T20 series by winning the second match, marking their first-ever series win against Pakistan in the format. The Afghan team displayed remarkable resilience and determination to chase down a target of 131 runs, clinching the game by 7 wickets.🎉🎉

Let's have a quick recap of this game! Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Pakistan's innings started off with a rocky start after deciding to bat first, losing two quick wickets in the very first over, leaving them reeling at 20/3 by the 4th over. But, as they say, where there is a will, there is a way, and that was proven by Tayyab Tahir and Imad Wasim, who put up a solid partnership to rescue their team. However, their progress was halted by Karim Janat, who took the wicket of Tahir and ended the 40-run partnership.

Despite the setback, Imad Wasim continued to bat sensibly and carried the team on his shoulders, ending the innings unbeaten at 64 runs. He found a reliable partner in Shadab Khan, who contributed a crucial 32 runs. Their efforts allowed Pakistan to post a respectable total of 130 runs, giving them a fighting chance in the game. From the bowling front, Fazalhaq Farooqi scalped a couple of wickets for Afghanistan, while Naveen-ul-Haq, Rashid Khan, and Karim Janat each contributed one wicket.

Afghanistan began their chase of Pakistan's 130-run total in style, with opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz taking on the bowlers from the very first over. His attacking stroke-play was a treat to watch, but unfortunately, he didn't get any support from his co-opener Usman Ghani, who failed to impress with the bat and fell to the bowling of Zaman Khan after the duo had put up a 30-run opening stand.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz, the Afghan opener, showed his versatility by shifting gears from aggressive to sensible batting after the early loss of his co-opener. He paired up with Ibrahim Zadran and accumulated runs through smart rotation of the strike. Gurbaz's achievement of reaching 1,000 runs in T20Is added another feather to his cap. The duo, however, struggled to find the boundaries, causing the required run rate to inch around 9 runs per over. Pakistani bowlers sensed the opportunity and tightened their lines, making it difficult for the Afghani batsmen to score freely. The mounting pressure led to a big mix-up between Gurbaz and Zadran, resulting in Gurbaz's run-out after scoring a valuable 44 runs.

As the pressure mounted on Afghanistan, they were dealt another blow when their set batter, Ibrahim Zadran, edged one to the keeper and departed for 38 runs at a crucial juncture of the game. With just two overs left and 22 runs required, the pressure was mounting on Afghanistan. But their experienced all-rounder Mohammad Nabi stepped up to the occasion and smashed a maximum off the first ball of the penultimate over, unleashing a wave of excitement in the stands. He found an able partner in Najibullah Zadran, who finished off the over with another big hit, further igniting the hopes of the Afghan fans. The equation was now reduced to just 5 runs off the last over.

Najibullah Zadran emerged as the hero for Afghanistan, as he struck a crucial boundary to seal the game in the second last ball of the last over, sparking wild celebrations among the Afghan players and fans alike. The match had been a rollercoaster ride for both teams, but in the end, it was Afghanistan's cool-headedness under pressure that saw them through to a thrilling victory.

From the bowling front, Zaman Khan and Ihsanullah were the only bowlers to extract a wicket for Pakistan.

With one more game remaining in the series, Afghanistan will be looking to continue their winning momentum and make a clean sweep against Pakistan. On the other hand, Pakistan needs to reassess their strategy and bounce back stronger in the last match of the series.

Stick around for the presentations...
19.5 Z Khan to N Zadran
4 FOUR! That will do it for Afghanistan. They have beaten Pakistan for the first time in a T20I series and the crowd here is elated. A historic moment for those in blue and red. Touch fuller and outside off, Najibullah Zadran bends low and looks to heave it away but the southpaw gets the thickish outside edge that flies towards the third man fielder. He dives forward and but the ball lands just short of him and cruises towards the boundary ropes. Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets to gain an invincible lead of 2-0 in the series.
2 needed off 2 balls now.
19.4 Z Khan to M Nabi

3 needed off 3 balls now. Good running between the wickets.
19.3 Z Khan to N Zadran
1b That is poor keeping from Azam Khan. Back of a length delivery outside off with the pace being taken off. Zadran goes for a heave across the line but gets outdone by the slow pace and misses it to the keeper, also fumbles a little and allows a single off byes.
4 needed off 4 balls now.
19.2 Z Khan to M Nabi
1 Short of a length delivery and on the fourth stump line. Nabi rides the bounce perfectly and pulls that along the carpet towards deep square leg for a single. A controlled shot from the right-hander and the hosts require 4 runs now.
19.1 Z Khan to M Nabi
0 Dots are gold dust for Pakistan. Over the wicket. Fuller length delivery and into the middle and leg with the pace being taken off. Nabi shuffles across and closes his bat face early. The edge goes safely in front of backward point for a dot.
5 needed off last over now.

6 SIXXX! Najibullah Zadran, you beauty. That was a cracking hit from the southpaw and he has brought the equation down to 5 off the last over. Naseem goes fuller and angled into the middle stump line. Zadran clears his front leg and hammers that over down the ground for a massive maximum of 83 M. Into the arc of Zadran and he doesn't miss.

1 Short of a length delivery on the fourth stump line with the pace being taken off. Nabi stays on the backfoot and pulls that along the carpet towards deep square leg for a single.
