That’s a wrap from our side as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Prince Suman and Scorer/Analyst Yogesh Kumar, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌✌
Aaron Finch( World Giants Captain): "Yes, the wicket had changed after 10 overs, but our bowler was bowling very well, especially the fast bowler, so we are probably very close at the end. A little bit of strategy is helpful because we know the ball was new if we pitched it up we got some movement and Tino adjusted it nicely. Yes, Brett Lee has been our greeter for a year. He comes in for our benefit, and we exchange greeting stories with legends in our dressing room."
Harbhajan Singh (India Maharajas Captain): "Yeah, I think we were 15 to 20 runs short. We didn't bat as well as the ball was stopping a bit, we lost too many wickets. We got another option now (Irfan Pathan bowling left-arm spin), sometime in these sort of games you need to try different things and it actually worked.

Now we know he can bowl spins as well, earlier he used to bowl 2 overs with the new ball, but now I know if I need him he can bowl left-arm spin. I am happy to be here and enjoying every moment."
Chris Gayle (Player of the match): "Yeah, first of all, our bowler did really well to restrict them to a low total. After the 10 overs when the ball got older, it got difficult to bat on and they have lots of spinners. Absolutely man, it's fun to be with these legends, I am enjoying it."
Time for the presentations.
11:24 PM IST | Deepak: A well-composed half-century from the Universe Boss Chris Gayle has helped World Giants win this contest by 3 wickets with 8 balls to spare.

The India Maharajas started off slow after being invited to bat first, with only 24 runs on the board and two wickets down in the fifth over. However, the experienced duo of Suresh Raina and Manvinder Bisla took charge and revived the team's innings with a solid 60-run partnership for the third wicket. Raina played a key role in the partnership, falling just one run short of a well-deserved half-century. Despite the lower order struggling to score, the Maharajas managed to post a competitive total of 136 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Brett Lee was the standout performer for the Giants with three crucial wickets, helping to restrict the Maharajas to under 140 runs.

In pursuit of India Maharajas’ paltry 136 runs, World Giants got off to a rollicking start as the Caribbean southpaw Chris Gayle was in a different mood today, starting to take on the bowlers from the beginning and posting 72 runs in the powerplay. Hashim Amla was the only batter to depart in the powerplay, as he was undone by a peach of a delivery by Dinda.

Gayle found an able partner in Shane Watson, who also played his shots and kept the scoreboard ticking. However, Watson's innings were cut short by a sensational delivery from leg-spinner Tambe, which clean-bowled him for 26 runs.

Despite a strong start, World Giants began to face some difficulties as India Maharajas tightened their bowling and took a few key wickets, including that of the set batsman Chris Gayle, who struggled to connect with the ball. Despite the late hiccups, World Giants managed to hold their nerve and chase down the target with 8 balls to spare and three wickets in hand, thanks to the blazing start provided by Chris Gayle and Shane Watson's valuable contribution.

From the bowling front, Yusuf Pathan extracted a couple of wickets, while Harbhajan Singh, Ashok Dinda, Pravin Tambe, and Suresh Raina contributed one wicket.

It was a well-deserved victory for the Giants, and they will look to carry the momentum. On the other hand, the Maharajas will have to go back to the drawing board and reassess their strategies before their next match.

Hang around for the presentations....
