That's it from an unbelievable cracker game in the T20 Blast as Middlesex went home in the London derby by seven wickets. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Max Holden is the player of the match.
2:08 AM IST, 9:38 PM Local time: A great great chase from Middlesex as they register their first win of the season defeating Surrey chasing the biggest total in the history of T20 Blast chasing 253 with 7 wickets and 4 balls to spare.

Surrey put up 252/7 in their 20 overs after losing the toss and been asked to bat first. Will Jacks (96) and Laurie Evans (85) added 177 in 12.4 overs for the first wicket to smash the big total. Ryan Higgins (2/40), Tom Helm (2/48), Max Harris (1/36) and Joshua De Caires (0/23) did well to restrict the scoring in the later half of the innings.

The chase started on a bright note with 36 runs scored from the first couple of overs and 50 in just 3 overs. Middlesex openers Stephen Eskinazi (73) and Joe Cracknall (36) put up a brilliant base to the chase adding 90 in just 6.3 overs where an unfortunate mix up resulted in Cracknall's run out.

Chris Jordan picked up Eskinazi in the 12th over with Max Holden then carrying the team forward adding 105 runs with Ryan Higgins (48 in 24). Higgins was the star with both bat and ball but was dismissed with 7 balls and 10 runs remaining.

Coming in to bat on the final ball of the penultimate over, Jack Davies cracked a six and a four to seal the deal hitting 11 in 3 balls against Gus Atkinson. Only Will Jacks, Chris Jordan (2/41) and Sunil Narine had an economy rate lower than Middlesex's run rate.
Deepak: That's it, Middlesex have done the unbelievable to register their first victory of the season. This is the highest-ever successfully chased score in the history of Blast and second highest successful chase in the history of T-20 cricket. A total of 506 runs were scored tonight, and the cricket fanatics were in for a treat.
19.2 G Atkinson to J Davies
4 FOUR RUNS!! Middlesex chase 253 to win by 7 wickets and 4 balls to spare! After losing 10 matches on the trot, Middlesex win their first in the season and how! A low full toss outside the off stump. Davies slices this in the backward point region. The fielder is up and wide to where the ball is placed. Runs away for four! Unbelievable scenes at the Oval!
In the air annnnnnnnnd it's a six. Davies picks out the scoop shot under pressure. 3 needed off the last 5 balls.
19.1 G Atkinson to J Davies
6 SIX!!! Jack Davies!! Over the wicket, a low full toss on the off stump. Davies scoops this over fine leg and middles this!! Completely controlled hit over fine leg for a maximum!
Brace yourself for the last-over thriller folks!! Middlesex need 9 runs in the last over. Gus Atkinson will bowl the crucial final over.

18.5 C Jordan to R Higgins
W Good length on the leg stump, Higgins makes some room and swings hard, some sound as the ball passes him. The keeper claims a low catch diving forward. Chris Jordan celebrates. Umpire Nigel Llong wants to send this upstairs to check whether it was taken cleanly. Yes, the catch is taken cleanly!!
18.4 C Jordan to R Higgins
4 FOUR! Luck favors Middlesex! A leg stump yorker. Higgins gets some part of bat and gets it between his legs past the wicketkeeper for four in the fine leg region. 10 from 8!
18.3 C Jordan to R Higgins
4 FOUR! A much needed boundary! Yorker outside off. Higgins gets forward and opens the face of the bat at the last moment. Slices this to the left of backward point. Finds the big vacant area for four.
