That's all from the coverage of this game. This is commentator, Vikhyat Jain signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Hitesh Peddurwar, and our scorer, Chandan Kumar Singh. Until next time, cheers!
18:20 GMT, 23:50 IST: Middlesex will feel that they have given away this match considering their position at the halfway mark. A tight bowling rendition from the Hampshire bowlers, in the end, stole the match from Middlesex. With this Middlesex are yet to win a match as they remain winless. A win for Hampshire means that they have move up in the charts with 8 points.

Earlier, Middlesex won the toss and elected to bowl first Hampshire were cruising along nicely until they started losing wickets regularly and got derailed. Ben McDermott looked good for his 47 runs.

There were other vital contributions as well and courtesy of Wood's 31 down the order helped Hampshire reach a decent total. Hollman was the pick of the bowler.

In response, Middlesex lost a few early wickets and were pushed to the backfoot but Holden held one end and kept striking the ball to reach his fifty in no time.

A fighting knock from Higgins in the end just wasn't good enough to get his team over the line. John Turner was the pick of the bowler as he claimed 3 crucial wickets.

Middlesex will go back to the drawing board while Hampshire looks good in the top half of the charts.

1-26(4.0)
19.6 N Ellis to L Hollman
1 PERFECT YORKER and HAMPSHIRE have won this thriller by 5 runs. Full and quick and there was hardly anything that Hollman could have done about it.
7 runs are needed from the last ball. 6 runs for a tie. Vince is having a chat with Ellis.
19.5 N Ellis to M Andersson
1b Slower and full and Andersson misses his big heave as the ball hits the pad first and then to the keeper. A single was taken in the meanwhile. A six required to tie the match
The pendulum is swinging both ways..... Now the equation boils down to 8 off 2 balls.
19.4 N Ellis to M Andersson
4 FOUR!!! Slower ball around off, Andersson waits for it and lofts it over the covers fielder inside the ring to collect a boundary. 8 required now
That's excellent bowling by Ellis under pressure. Middlesex need 12 runs off the last 3 balls now....
19.3 N Ellis to M Andersson
0 A crucial dot ball. Slower again on the good length wide of off, Andersson tries to loft it but misses to put any bat to it
19.2 N Ellis to M Andersson
2 Another slower bumper into the surface, Andersson pulls it in the gap between square leg and mid-wicket and completes two runs
19.1 N Ellis to L Hollman
1 Slower and hit into the deck, Hollman pulls it to the long-on without any power for a single
Tighten your seatbelts folks... Another nailbiter is on the cards... Middlesex need 15 runs off the final over. Nathan Ellis will bowl the final over.

18.6 C Wood to M Andersson
4 Full toss outside off, Andersson slashes hard at it and gets it past the fielder at the sweeper region for a boundary. 15 now required off the last over
Wow!!!! That's an extraordinary effort by the man in the deep. The fielder leaps up in the air, grabs the ball and pulls back into the field.
18.5 C Wood to M Andersson
2 WHAT AN EFFORT IN THE DEEP! Saved four runs for his team here. Short and Andersson pulled it and it kept going until the fielder at the square leg cut it down to two runs only
