So, Mumbai doing Mumbai things. They have cruised through the 201 run target and beat SRH by 8 wickets to get to 16 points. Now all the eyes are on the match between RCB and GT. If RCB win against GT, they will qualify else MI will make it to the playoffs. GT have won the toss and opted to field first! Do join us in our live coverage of the final game of the league stage.

It's time to bid adieu to this game. I am AkshayaKrishna Polya signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Arijit Kundu and Hitesh Peddurwar, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav brought you all the live-action of this encounter. We will meet in the next game. Until then, it is cheers!
Cameron Green: "Yeah, obviously it was a great partnership with Rohit Sharma. He has so much experience playing at these stages and it was a great feeling batting with him. Yes, from Mumbai family, the motivation is always there. The whole setup has been awesome. This innings was probably for myself. Pollard has helped me with range hitting. Having players like Rohit, Ishan, and SKY helps with intent at the top. I instructed SKY to finish it once we had 20 runs left to chase. We had a couple of runs and we just went past the victory line."
Player of the Match: Cameron Green
Rohit Sharma( Mumbai Indians Captain): " Yeah, we came with the mindset that, we wanted to win the game first and not think about the things that or not in our hands. {On asking did you have a talk with Ashish Nehra} I haven't spoken with anyone if we go through. If we don't then we need to blame ourselves.

Last time we did the favor for RCB, I hope things will go in our favor. We played well in the middle overs.

We didn't start well and won three in a trot.  We lost in crucial moments in a couple of moments. In the game against Punjab, we needed 30 or 20 runs in the end but we failed to get over the line and in the game against the LSG too. Every time the guys want to go and win the game but sometimes it doesn't click."
Active catch of the Match: Nitish Kumar Reddy
Longest Six: Aiden Markram (95 m)
Most fours: Vivrant Sharma
Game-changer of the Match: Cameron Green
Valuable asset of the match: Cameron Green
Electric Striker of the Match: Cameron Green
7:40 PM IST | Time for the presentation ceremony.
Mumbai Indians players and team management is taking a round of the ground. They are thanking the fans as this was the last match of this IPL season at Wankhede Stadium. The crowd is on their feet with the chants of "Mumbai", "Mumbai".
Suryakumar Yadav (Mumbai Indians): "I think he [Cameron Green] deserved the hundred clearly. It was an important game. We didn't have anything for net run-rate then and I told him to go and get your hundred, it will be a special moment.

And even after the 16 overs, we knew that if we can curtail them for 200 odds, we can get the total. The mindset was always positive, go out there, enjoy, and play your best.

Not really, when I was sitting in my room, what has happened suddenly? I was just focusing on things that were in my control and just got that.

I think I have played that shot in my mind for more than 100-150 times and i can play it well now. Very happy with the way the season had gone. It would have been good if we could have qualified by now. But it's good we are learning from it."
Aiden Markram (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Decent effort tonight with the bat. The boys tried well but unfortunately, we are on the wrong side of the game today. It has been a great challenge tbh, and a lot of challenges. We gave our best, the team was slightly on the younger side. When things don't go on your way, it is really hard and we failed to grab on opportunities.

Like I mentioned, I am very happy for them. I am really happy for those guys who consistently did well throughout the season. Thanks Harsha, thank you."
7:21 PM IST | Mumbai Indians have done what was in their control. They have beaten Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets and have gotten to 16 points, climbing upto the fourth place in the points table. All the eyes are on Bengaluru where currently rain is having it's command. Mumbai will be keeping a close eye on that as well. However, with MI's win Rajasthan Royals have also been knocked out of the tournament.

Rohit Sharma stepped on when the team needed the most and don't forget Cameron Green, who smashed his first IPL century. Green was the aggressor and delivered at the right time for MI for the big money they invested on the tall Australian all-rounder!

Earlier in the afternoon, Rohit Sharma of Mumbai Indians won an important toss and decided to bowl first. Sunrisers Hyderabad used their 7th opening pair of the season, and finally, the move was successful. Vivrant Sharma and Mayank Agarwal set a massive platform as the duo added 140 runs for the first wicket. Both completed their respective fifties and had a face of satisfaction.

Once Akash Madhwal broke this stand in the 14th over with the wicket of Vivrant, the scoring rate decreased. Madhwal was impressive and didn’t allow the SRH batters to get a big finish, as he picked up four wickets. Madhwal even bowled a terrific yorker to dismiss Harry Brook for a golden duck, and before that, he also cleaned up the promoted Heinrich Klaasen (18 off 13).

Mayank was the top scorer with 83 runs to his name in 46 balls, while Vivrant garnered 69 off 47 balls. The SRH captain Aiden Markram (13* off 7), tonked a six off the final ball of the innings and helped the side reach 200/5 at the end of 20 overs.
Mumbai got off to a bad start chasing the mammoth score as they lost Ishan Kishan (14 off 12) in the third over to Bhuvneshwar Kumar. But what transferred later was gold dust for the Men in Blue. Cameron Green walked out to bat at number three and pressed on the accelerator right from ball one. Green added a massive 128-run partnership for the second wicket with Rohit Sharma and set up the match for his side. Rohit (56 off 37) was out after a brilliant half-century, who had a couple of lives given by Sanvir Singh, dropping easy chances.

Suryakumar Yadav (25* off 16) came in next and scored runs at the rate of knots. SKY and Green added an unbeaten 53 runs for the third wicket and sealed the deal for the home side with 12 balls remaining. Green (100* off 47) was struggling for the singles in the last phase of his innings as he was looking for a century and eventually, he managed to achieve the feat which indeed became the winning runs as well.

Stay tuned for the presentations...

1 Take a bow mate!!!!! Green gets to his first T20 hundred in 47 balls. Mumbai Indians have chased down a total of 201 runs in just 18 overs. Good length delivery angling into the leg stump line, Green backs away, walks down the track and smashes it towards the right of the cow corner. With this victory, MI stays in the hunt for the playoffs.
