Milestone
That's it from another last over finish at the Indian Premier League. The tournament is now shortened between six teams out of ten as we get deep into the last week. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Megh Mandaliya, Ayan Chatterjee and scorer Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Devdutt Padikkal (Player of the Match): "Yes apart from the net sessions. Of course, I felt good coming into the season. It did not work out well but now glad it worked out today. Finally, I could make an impact and win a game for my side. Never easy it has been. Don't mind batting at 3 as I am learning a lot and learning new things. Yes, it's been a challenge for me the last few months and today I am talking to you and I feel grateful for it. Thank all my well wishers and family who have supported me throughout. Always a pleasure playing in the IPL. Thank you very much."
Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "The way Hettie was going we though that somewhere 18.5 is a good way to finish off the game that's what we will be trying also.

The team which we have, the quality of players and characters which we have, its a bit shocking to see where we stand at the table at this point of time. If you honestly look at the season. There are a lot of things to look back and think about and discuss about and learn from it.

I've been talking about Yashasvi Jaiswal every match and very happy the way he has matured enough at this very young age. Its like he has played around 100 T20 internationals. Very happy for him.

We do assume 99% that Trent Boult will pick a wicket in the first over. The second half of the tournament has been different for us but the last game the pressure has been up there until the last ball where we finished off the game, the pressure was there."
Active Catch of the Match: Trent Boult
Longest Six Hit in the Match: Riyan Parag (93m)
Most Fours Hit in the Match: Yashasvi Jaiswal (8 fours)
Most Valuable Asset of the Match: Sam Curran
Game Changer of the Match: Sam Curran
Electric Striker of the Match: Shahrukh Khan
11:39 PM IST | Time for the presentation ceremony...
Shimron Hetmyer (Rajasthan Royals): "I was trying to see how fast we can finish the game. I was actually trying to finish the game before the 18th over. I didn't listen to my wife really. She tells me what to do as far as batting is concerned. It's always good to have someone say something to me. it doesn't really happen that often when I'm batting so gives me a little bit more confidence and energy to execute."
Shikhar Dhawan (Punjab Kings Captain): "I feel that while batting we lost wickets too many and that's why we lost the plot. Jitesh, Sam and Shahrukh gave us a good total but the fielding was bad and the bowling was good. I felt 200-215 was a good score here.

I feel in all the areas we could have done better. We did not click as a unit. The graph goes up and down and the boys will learn. I have learnt a lot of things as well and learnt from mistakes.

Today, I ended up in the position. Wanted to take the game deep and the target was gettable. Today Rahul bowled well and had a tough task ahead of him. Today I was left with no choice. But last match giving it to Brar was my mistake. Thank You. Lots of learnings for us going into the next season."
11:22 PM IST: The Punjab Kings are out of the reckoning of the qualifiers as they fail to complete the required scenarios in a hard fought battle at Dharamsala which went the Royals' way as they get home by 4 wickets. The Royals are still hanging on a thread to get into the top 4 and will be dependent on the results of RCB and MI's remaining one game.

Thanks to three handy contributions from the middle and lower middle order, the Kings managed to put 187/5 in their innings. Navdeep Saini starred with the ball getting 3 wickets for 40 runs. Adam Zampa was brilliant with the ball in the absence of R Ashwin and kept the scoring rate down in the first innings.

Royals needed to chase the score in 18.3 overs or hit a six to finish at 193 in 19 overs to get their net run rate above RCB but a tidy bowling effort from the Kings managed to keep them hanging until the final over. Jos Buttler failed again getting out for his 5th duck in the last 10 IPL innings but Yashasvi Jaiswal (50) and Devdutt Padikkal (51) added 73 runs for the 2nd wicket to provide some good momentum to the chase.

Padikkal was sent back by Arshdeep and was soon followed by the skipper Sanju Samson for a low score. Jaiswal also departed soon after crossing the 50-run mark. Shimron Hetmyer then clubbed a stunning knock of 46 in 28 balls hitting 3 sixes and 4 fours. Riyan Parag (20 off 12) tried to slog the game down early but was sent back by Rabada after hitting 2 sixes in the same over.

Dhruv Jurel, the impact player and Trent Boult then kept the nerve and chased down the required 9 runs in the final over with the impact sub smashing a six to seal the deal. Rahul Chahar (1/28) bowled a tidy spell for the Kings alongside Nathan Ellis (1/34) but the economy of the other three bowlers did not help the cause.

Kagiso Rabada (2/40) picked up 2 wickets but was clubbed for four sixes in the spell. Arshdeep Singh also conceded 40 runs in his spell. Sam Curran (1/46) was the most expensive in the lot and Harpreet Brar who was having a successful run in the season wasn't required to bowl at all.

Rajasthan Royals have 14 points on the table and are at the fifth position in the table just below RCB (14 pts) and above MI (14 pts). The fate of the fourth team to play the qualifiers will depend on the net run rate. Stay tuned as we bring you the post match festivities.
19.4 R Chahar to D Jurel
6 SIX! Tosses it up and in the slot, Jurel comes down the track and lofts it over the bowler's head. The ball goes straight as an arrow into the sight screen as Rajasthan and Jurel finishes things off in style. So, Rajasthan Royals win this by 4 wickets with 2 balls to spare to keep their slim hopes alive.
This is smart batting from Boult. He collects a single and gets Jurel back on strike.
19.3 R Chahar to T Boult
1 Fuller length around off, Boult flicks it away to the deep midwicket fielder for a single to get off strike.
19.2 R Chahar to D Jurel
1 Tosses it up here, Jurel comes down the track and lofts it uppishly to long-off for a single.
Umpire check for a run-out! Dhruv Jurel takes the desperate dive at the keeper's end and he comfortably back to the crease. NOT OUT is the call. 7 runs are required from 5 balls now.
19.1 R Chahar to D Jurel
2 Good length around off, Jurel flicks it away to the square leg region and he hustles back for the second run. Jurel dives at the striker's end and makes his ground.
